Introduction / Hello! Long time, no see.

[Hoooo boy. My last post was on June 9th, 2015.]
Hi! Uh... well, I guess I'm back, though I bet most of you don't remember me all that much. I used to be online almost 24/7, but I abandoned the game after a while after finding other IT servers (speaking of that, you can find me on Dragon's Den).

The reason for my return is solely because a friend started making a few presets on here. And oooh man, I need a break from the complex IT UVs that are used on other servers. Despite those challenges, I did manage to experiment and improve my preset-making in the time I've been gone. These can all be found on Dragon's Den. (Credit to many gifted people on DD for fur/eye textures and also for teaching me how to script.)

In descending order, these are from newest to oldest.
Muse for Frentus
FORM (Personal)
Reignbow and Galaxy (Personal)
(Both use the same script, they just have different textures.)
Dealie for Touyja
(My tablet pen was lost, so this was done entirely with a mouse.)

(This was when I was first learning to script. It is no longer in the game but is a remnant of the struggle it is to use effects.)

This is the first preset I completed in Dragon's Den. As you can see, I dove right into scripting something as crazy as I could manage.

The last link there is actually I preset I tried to make. As you can see, I suck. I was just wondering if you could make a bluejay-themed preset that is much like mine, but, well, better. If you want, you can download the files for the preset and use them as a reference. I've also put a link to the bluejay wing I used as a referece.

Just a note: I actually draw really well, it's just that with a mouse on a picture on the computer, I really suck. XD

*JUST A NOTE: THIS IS MY FIRST EVER PRESET AND SO IF IT DOESN'T LOOK THAT GOOD, DON'T JUDGE.*

Here's the first preset I've ever made! I made this for my wolfjay character, Sunny. Introduction / Hey, I'm back

If you've noticed, I haven't been on here for a really long time and only recently have I come back. I may not post as much as I did in the past (School...) but I'll still try to play and post on here as much as I can. Also, I am starting to get into more realistic RPs and I have created another character whose name is "Alleato". Sometimes she's a wolf and sometimes she's a lion just so she can fit into the RP. (It's not a power. Sometimes I get bored and decide I want her to be a lion/wolf.) Another random thing about her: she has a little pet/companion bluejay named "Diamond" after a diamond-shaped mark on top of its head. (Pictures were removed)

Species / The Wolfjay

You may have seen my other species called vogelmadras. This species is a vogelmadra, but since it is one of my favorites I decided to make it a group and a post of its own. If you want to you can check out vogelmadras here:

    The wolfjay is a cross between a wolf and a bluejay, so as you would expect, they are winged and bright blue with white and black markings. They are arranged so that from far away, it looks like the creature has a beak and scaled legs like a bird. Here is what the average wolfjay looks like:


    Wolfjays are born in late winter, down south after the migration. When a wolfjay is born, they are a wingless wolf with no fur, like a baby bird with no feathers. They survive on milk from their mother until their fur, feathers and wings grow in; at that time they are a preteen and they are taught how to hunt and fly. When finally they become teens, they migrate back to their home up north in late spring. As soon as the wolfjays arrive home, they start to get attracted to each other, and by the end of the summer most of them have chosen their mates. (Don't worry they don't breed until the fall when they are adults) They live in their summer home until, in late fall, wolfjays that are either elders or the ones born the previous year go south in a migration. All the others stay behind to guard their homes. Finally, in late winter, the females have their pups, and the cycle starts over again.

Other Info:
Sounds ~ Wolfjays can make about every sound that a bird or a wolf can make, like screeching, howling, chirping, barking, etc.
Mammal or bird? ~ Wolfjays are actually (mostly) mammals; they give birth to live pups and feed them with milk. Still, they do have wings, feathers, and talons. It's kind of like how a platypus is a mammal yet it has a bill and lays eggs.
Where do they live? ~ Anywhere a wolf or a bluejay can live. I'm a bit too lazy right now to look it up, but I'll update this later.
Predators/enemies ~ Large hawks or birds of prey (Sometimes it takes 2 to bring a wolfjay down, and even then they can't do it if the wolfjay is as high as they are), felines, and sometimes, but rarely, wolves (Only if the wolves threaten the wolfjays, first)

Miscellaneous Tutorials / How to make Animated Avatars

    Okay, you might have noticed that my avatar is/was animated (Lol, I might have changed it by the time you read this), but have you wondered how to do it? It's really easy: all you need is Flash Player and Paint installed, which about every computer has.

    First thing's first: Either gather pictures to be put into the animated picture (gif) or just take screenshots from Feral Heart by pressing prt sc. Make sure that the Feral Heart screen is square (not full screen) while you take the screenshots so that the avatar will be bigger. To find the screenshots, go to "Computer" then "Local Disc C:" (or wherever you've installed Feral Heart). Click on "screenshots" and all the screenshots you took should be there. Now, make copies of all the pictures if you're going to edit them with Paint, just in case. Edit them in Paint if you want to. Finally, make sure you're not using a lot of pictures, or else it won't work since the file will be too big. (I learned that the hard way when I tried cramming 30 pictures into an avatar)
    Now you get to put your avatar together! I searched online and found an easy GIF maker; here's the link: http://gifmaker.me/ When you get to the website, click on "Upload Images", then find your pictures and upload them one at a time until they're all loaded onto the page. You can click and drag them to switch them around, although to delete one you'll have to reset it so plan carefully what pictures you use. On the side is a setting where you can change the speed of the frames and even add music (I'm not sure how to do that or how it works, sorry) The first setting on the left, though, is important. After the "100%" there are two numbers representing the height and width of the GIF. Change the smaller number into the number of the larger one, so that the avatar will be square. Finally, click "Create Now" and then "Download". Then you can upload it to the website :D
    This part is optional, but if you want to have a less blurry avatar, you should probably do this. You need to upload the picture somewhere (I use Imgur; I don't know any other websites that do this, though) and on the side click on the direct link that has ".gif" at the end, then copy it. When you go to your profile, click on "I have my own pic" and paste in the url that you copied earlier. Save your profile, and done!
