a public map for all your (semi)realistic wolfie needs

Hello there! Welcome to the thread regarding the land of wolves. This map is not simply a map- I seek to make it a hub for all similar role-play groups and characters. This map is meant to hold large amounts of players with minimal lag, which means it uses default meshes and not too many of them. If you're in a realistic or semi-realistic wolf pack, please consider entering this map.

I know what you're saying: Why would I put my group into a map? Some players may not be able to get into it, and/or I like my current map better!
Alright, here's where it gets cool. Pull up a chair, my floofs. This map will come with a detailed tutorial on its simple installation that even beginners couldn't mess up. If you put your group in this map, there'd always be someone to roleplay with, even if no other group members were on. Though other maps may be more detailed, this map surely does not neglect details and making allies and enemies for your plot would be much easier.

Not in a group? Not a problem! The map has smaller, individual dens scattered about for rogues and loners.
Not a wolf? Not a problem! This map welcomes all realistic canines, such as domesticated dogs and foxes. (even though a fox is a lupine. Not much of a difference tho lol)

Here's a key for the map's main dens. Keep in mind that solitary dens can still service smaller-average sized packs.

and for some perspective: that island at the bottom right corner is about as big as bonfire island.
densites are one large main den surrounded by 2-4 smaller dens.

"But papayatoot, what are the cons of moving my character to the land of wolves?" There are none, my friend!

All densites and solitary caves are to be utilized the same way as the ones in FP. No territory is promised OOC. I rarely see any problems in FP, and this map has exponentially more role-play spots anyway, so I doubt this will be a problem.

Work In Progress Maps & Map Discussion / GREAT Idea Regarding Realistic Wolf Packs/Cat Clans

No, I'm serious. Think: A map the size of FP with a low amount of meshes (so no lag, but still looks nice) and each pack has its own territory and a linked mini-map for just the pack so they're not all in the main map at once (another precaution against lag). You see so many realistic packs, imagine if they could all be in one map. It'd be so easy to make allies and rivals. Rogues and loners could be abundant and there'd always be someone to rp with, even if nobody in your group was on. Is this brilliant, or is this brilliant?

If i get enough "hell yeah"s, I could get to making the map, and any pack that knew they were ok with it could list specific details they wanted in their territory. Also, imagine if there were personalized meshes to mark the land of your pack, Like an alpha's paw print on a stone or something. Tell me what you guys think.

**could also work with clans. There could be a Packs map and a Clans map, so felines and canines could all be crammed into their respective maps.

Hello! This is my first public map. I made room for four different groups, and it can be used for both clans and packs!

It features four dens (each as their own mini-map), a large central tree (also a mini-map), and scattered prey and herbs. Each densite includes a medicine den, alpha den, and elevated point for various purposes. I also included my own soundtrack.

So, I downloaded a mesh pack the other day, and at first I just thought the .object file was broken but I went and looked and it's working for everyone else that downloaded it. I'm so sad because if the meshes weren't sharp geometric marshmallows they would be so pretty! Does anyone know how to fix this or what's causing my game to not texture things?

Hello everybody! I had a lot of unused heighmaps and alpha masks clogging up my terrains folder, and since I wasn't using them, I decided to upload them in case anyone else wanted some use out of them. There's a lot of variety in here, so I'm sure there's something for everyone!

MY CHARACTERS

hello everyone! I made this thread awhile back but since I'm back from my hiatus I decided to update it with all new art, bios and characters!! I hope you like them! Also, if the text/picture size columns are giving you a hard time, try zooming in or out a little. They're acting funky in this preview but imma let it slide cause I really want this in columns. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy cause i spent a lot of time working on this!!! I grew a beard while figuring out this forum code!!! And I'm a woman!!

	Faline (retired) Faline was my first ever character on this game, when I joined over four years ago. As a result, a lot of aspects of my personality shine through in her (also in my second character, Karlie). Faline was a sweet and feminine Scout who could never hurt a fly. She was loyal to her friends over all else, and she was quick to trust others. She often sugar-coated things and was kind to a fault. However, she was extremely sensitive, making it extremely difficult for her to take criticism. She was also extremely stubborn in what she believed was right, which eventually led to her demise. She was killed quietly by a packmate shortly after giving birth to Karlie. And she’s got huge ears, for some reason. Like, I don’t even remember why I made them so ridiculously huge.
	Karlie (retired) Faline’s strong-willed and emotional daughter. Karlie had the most intense drive and work ethic of any character I’ve ever made or seen. Albeit generally aggressive and short-tempered, Karlie was fiercely loyal and protective of her pack. She was of a muscular build and had a fiery intensity in everything she accomplished. After enduring a tumultuous and emotionally taxing life, she was killed by her only son at the ripe old age of ten years.
	Fawnpetal My beloved meddie character. Fawnpetal is a dilute tortoishell with a calm, down-to earth attitude. She is patient and wise, albeit somewhat lazy. She spends most of her free time lounging, eating snacks, and chewing on catnip leaves. She is good with children and loves to tell mythical stories of the spirits and the gods.
	Andrei Young, fun-loving, cynical and flirty, Andrei’s primary skill is doing anything except what he’s supposed to. He’s always procrastinating and goofing around, be it through pranks, poor attempts at flirting, or clumsy accidents. Andrei lacks the required focus to take things seriously, save for when the opportunity arises for him to do what he was made to do and help those who are injured. He becomes almost a new wolf completely when doing medic work, suddenly becoming extremely calm and focused. He developed this skill when he was just a pup, learning to take care of his littler brothers and sisters when his deadbeat parents weren’t around. He’s extremely attentive to all of his patients and has a repressed need for validation and acceptance.
	Mohingan Mohingan (a tribal name literally meaning ‘wolf’) is a reserved and patient wolf. Analytical, pragmatic, and difficult to piss off, Mohingan performs well under pressure and is well-suited to solitary ranks. He’s a rather large, thick-pelted wolf with much more muscle than speed. He is quiet but observant with a very long fuse. Mohi was bred and raised by native americans for most of his adolescence, so his morals and religious beliefs often align with theirs. As a result, he is also extremely tame around horses and other domesticated species.
]	Cinderfern Cinderfern is the textbook definition of a lawful good. She is sworn to her clan’s leader and will obey their every word until her dying breath. She’s extremely obedient and pious, but has difficulty thinking for herself. She makes decisions on hard facts exclusively. Her dream is to be ranked Deputy. She’s often blunt and somewhat abrasive, so it’s difficult at first for others to get along with her, and she’s horrible with kits. Oh, and she’s a lesbian. Yeah, you thought none of these charries was gonna be a lesbian? Think again :/ never judge a book by its cover
	Kanari Kanari is an adolescent lioness with a LOT of sass. She’s confident, charming, attractive and somewhat self-entitled. She’s somewhat aloof and will never take no for an answer. According to Kanari, the only thing you need to take seriously in life is boys. She’s only two and still has a lot to learn, and she’s eager to rise in rank and stature. She’s a fast learner, although she’s convinced she’s got nothing left to learn. Kanari will never hesitate to tell the whole truth like it is and will always be there to back up her friends.
	Kimira She’s beauty, she’s grace, she’s miss united states,,,,, nah not really. But if the wolf world had pageants, Kimi would definitely be taking home some trophies. Kimi is naïve, playful, shy and extremely impressionable. She’s three years old easily distracted. She will believe almost anything she’s told and is always full of sugar and happiness. This is because she represses everything and has no viable emotional outlets (yeah that went from 0-100 real quick). Kimira is a true southern belle: polite, charming, and disarmingly beautiful.

Game Help / fix the login page?

Title says it all. The page I have to keep open while I play signs me out every other minute. If there's a way to keep it there PERMANENTLY so I can actually get out a whole post would be really nice, so if you know how to do that please tell me. It seems like everyone has been having this problem lately. Frankly, I think the hackers are long gone now and the security log-in page needs to go, but I guess it's better safe than sorry. Staff said they were working on a better solution; does anyone know what that may be?
