New, what to do, advice.

Hi so after trying to get this game for like 2 years (i stopped trying 2 years ago then just happened to hop on and saw i could register XD) I finally made it in, any advice would be great, i've already read the rules so got that down. And how not to get lost would be great cause i keep just wandering around til i end up in really empty areas and wonder how i got there.

First of all, I wish you a warm welcome to the FH community!
It's good to see you were finally able to register!

A lil' tip I would give 'ya is if you ever find yourself lost, you can always reset your position by clicking on your character info tab at the bottom of your screen, then click 'home'. It should say your home position is "Lonely Cave," so if you click "Go home" it'll take 'ya right back there. (Super sorry, I don't know what the info button actually looks like for you because mine has been custom for so long I don't remember what the defaults look like x'D)

I just recommend exploring lots and you'll become more and more comfortable with everything. Plus, you can always stop and ask for directions. ;3

On a side note, why are there so many white characters, (do i not have the textures or something?)

The answer to that is Mass Markings.
It's an entirely different markings file which you have to download, and currently the most common pack being used is the Legendary Mass Markings pack.

The reason there are so many "Marshmallow" characters is because they are using custom markings packs.

The marking pack links reminded me! There's a whole bunch of items you can download for your character to use, too! Necklaces, fangs, hats, glasses, etc!
