"We have officially opened and have gained 13 members-not counting the existing early members who joined during development.
Welcome everyone who has joined!

We rped and did the first spar-kind of, it was a mock spar between Me [Wither] vs Opium, deemed a tie in the end due to Opium having to go~!
And, we have gotten a new staff member! Ekko is now a Moderator! Congratulations !

Along with this fun and preferably relaxing opening, we gained our first allies! Risen Revolution are now allies of TBB and the terms will be explained under the rightfully named post on here. ^^
I hope all who has joined today continues with such!
I've had a wonderful time so far, let's make it continue! <3"

"More members have been gained for a total of 28 now! Lots of role-playing and ranking up those recruits, ceremonies will be held tomorrow for those at tier III of their recruit rank.

"Slow day, mainly just chilling and talking-especially considering it's the start of the week.
Surprised about how many came on considering it was a weekday. ^^

Got to witness Intrepidus having a field trip to somewhere magical, really chill and nice.
High rank tryouts are in the works still!

"Overall slow day with recruiting once more, but our activity made up for it definitely!
Was a typical day of role-playing.

The Black Battalion had it's first ceremony!
The following gained their rank as well as got their ears cropped in the Ceremony of the Hound.
Congratulations!
Gizmo got a show crop. [+ 1 Lookout]
Svanthor got a show crop. [+ 1 Infantry]
Ereshkigal got a show crop. [+ 1 Vanguard]
Calamella got a show crop. [+ 1 Vanguard]
Juniper got a show crop. [+ 1 Lookout]
Gained 4 new members [Sage, Exzel, Cylene, Akoni], + 1 rejoin on new character [James is now Hekmat].

All those with "RIII" will be receiving their ceremony tomorrow [2/28/18] shortly after recruiting if needed.

Relatively slow day as usual with recruiting-during a weekday.
Real Chill day overall, tons of chatting as well.

Along with this, I kind of forgot about yesterdays ceremonies, too caught up chattin' and role-playing.

The Black Battalion is a canine raiding oriented role-play consisting within Feral Heart. We are a role-play that accepts wolves, foxes and, coyotes!
Custom-made canine species along with other canine species are allowed after given written permission by a staff member of The Black Battalion [TBB].


What are we based on?
The group is based on raiding, combat and that of a traditional wolf pack.
The ties of family and realistic role-play regarding that of a wolf pack is combined with the unrealistic aspects of raiding and focusing on combat with members gives a feeling of being in a gang of bandits that see each other as family.

Where do we role-play?
We role-play in varying maps as we are a nomadic wolf-pack. Updates on the territory is seen on the website.

We are rated:
• Literate, we are an english role-play that requires members to use basic english grammar and punctuation in order to join or when role-playing.
• Mapless, unlike a mapped group, we reside within the public maps provided to us in Feral Heart.
• Semi-Realistic, with our realistic role-play regarding that of a traditional wolf pack; combined with the unrealistic aspects of raiding, focusing on combat with members and, how your character look deems us as a Semi-Realistic role-play.

• Mature, as a group that deals with interactions with others, it is expected that our members are mature and willing to be formal when need be with others-including that of any drama.
• Organized, the staff strive to be an organized group from keeping it's information neat as well as that of drama being resolved neutrally with both opposing parties if it occurs.
• Tagged, within the game Feral Heart we use tags on our character's names in order to distinguish which rank that person holds.
• Ranked, we are a group that has a hierarchy system consisting of tiers per rank.
• Combat Oriented, consisting of: raids- stealing of herbal supplies, attacking others as well as stealing food from other packs-all of which is plotted out of character with the opposing leaders of said groups; spars- a controlled fight between two canines; wars- a battle between two opposing groups and; combative competitions- competitions that are held for members to show off their combat skills in front of the pack.

• Nomadic, we do not have a set territory as it will move often from place to place. This may be a place conquered after a raid or that of an unoccupied area.

How do I join The Black Battalion?
Joining the Black Battalion is quite easy!

First, you must have a Feral Heart account and a character ready to be role-played on-registration on Feral Heart opens randomly at any time during the day, check here: https://feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=56, to register or check if it's open. Once or if you already have a Feral Heart account all you have to do is message [whisper] the recruiter account of TBB: "BlackBattalion" or message a Staff member that is online.
Then, you will be asked to provide a sample of your role-playing skills. If you meet our literate and semi-realistic character standards then, you will be accepted!

If you are unable to contact us, you may use a joining application as seen here: http://theblackbattalion.boards.net/thread/5/joining-application. After you have submitted your application, a staff member will decide whether you will be accepted or denied.
