ASK FOXHOUND!
« on: January 06, 2017, 06:14:19 am »
i love interaction a lot so an ask thread for me sounds like a great idea? lol. feel free to send any kind of inquiries because i love that pleasant bit of attention! some information about myself is below if you wanna ask about anything pertaining specifically to those topics! But don't feel limited by what's listed u can literally ask me what my favorite food is or how many dogs i have lol

- my name is hal but you can just call me foxhound!
- i love film from many eras and keep up with it consistently. i have some pretty good opinions about blockbuster franchises and an adequate understanding of cinematography framing and color grading for someone who's fifteen. i make my own film projects and write my own screenplays
- i love writing + rping and also have a good idea of character structure from archetypes / what makes characters likable / what is Essential to developing them
- i play soccer ⚽️
- pretty good in Photoshop and i have a Funky sense of graphic design :-)
- i love 70s & 80s music which is reflected predominantly with modern releases as havin like Folk-y vines! My fav artist is Bruce Springsteen
- i love the MGS franchise! my favorite game is probably snake eater
- sounds dumb& extra nerdy but honestly i also love sociology lol

ANSWERED QUESTIONS WILL BE LISTED BELOW.

When did you join FH/how did you find out about it?
i first joined feralheart when i was 10, so like in 2011! i believe i found it in like, the Ancient Traditionalist way.  i wanted an animal game.  i found wolfquest.  wolfquest, at that time (idk if it's improved as of lately, almost 6 years later), sucked.  so i went here instead& it taught me a lot about rping and writing which was great!!!

Dream occupation?
Anywhere specific you'd like to visit in your future?
Favorite TV Show?

DREAM OCCUPATION:  would love to be a film director tbh, but that probably won't happen.  i'm trying very hard though and if not film director i'd always love to be director of photography/cinematography or simply write or touch up scripts!
ANYWHERE I'D LIKE TO VISIT: honestly just any desert? i love how they look. i love the sand.  i love the heat and the stark contrast between a blue sky and a yellow ground and the succulents that grow there.  that would be super neat.
FAVORITE TV SHOW: i really don't watch tv shows too much.... honestly its lame but the one thats stuck with me the most is probably malcolm in the middle.  it's a mostly-narrativeless comedy show but it very good through its runtime and the humor matched my own and their casting choices were very diverse and thoughtful, and honestly for a show about a prodigal-genius fourteen year old the lessons and morals it taught were very good and meaningful.  it was one of those shows that got really deep at times...... which actually. reminds me that i also Love Scrubs.  basically the same set-up as malcolm in the middle they are suuuucchhh good shows!!!

What's your favorite book?
Favorite fruit?
What makes you interested in sociology?
What is your worst fear?
Bruce Springsteen, eh? Have you tried listening to Rick Springfield or Jeff Beck?
David Bowie?

FAVORITE BOOK:  my favorite book is DEFINITELY the original battle royale novel by Koushun Takami. it's an incredible narrative that's sadly been shamelessly stolen& copied off of by the hunger games trilogy, but is truly one of the most upstanding fictional books with a strong antifascism message that is genuinely relatable and applicable in real life - and that message comes from a book about junior high students forced to violently kill one another, lol.  there's a character for everyone in this novel & another bonus? it references bruce springsteen & other rock music artist repeatedly
FAVORITE FRUIT: ummm are lemons fruit because. if so. it's them.
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTED IN SOCIOLOGY? probably its significance in human history and the importance of it and what it's brought light to in the future, idk.  i initially got interested in it when i read up on WWII propaganda & dehumanisation methods from similar genocides or authoritarian takeover.  this is a really deep answer to this question but sociology is extremely important to me & i think that interest should correlate more closely w/ world issues now.  like.  people can talk to me all they want about the business side of politics / the "admirability" of Powerful Leaders and their methods / economics / etc but i feel like it's extremely insignificant compared to the importance of sociology& creating a better place where fascism cannot hurt anyone anymore & we break down the influence of prejudices and descrimination
WORST FEAR idk probably like dying and no-one knowing who i was u know
BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, EH? HAVE YOU TRIED LISTENING TO RICK SPRINGFIELD OR JEFF BECK? i love them also but bruce is my main man!! i also like van morrison / paul simon / and the more recent nathaniel rateliff (who draws major influence from the animals i feel?)
DAVID BOWIE? love bowie.  not so much a ziggy stardust kinda fan i lean more towards hunky dory yknow :-)
