my game crashes whenever i enter the grounds

okay, so yesterday i was hanging out on FH but when i tried to go to The Grounds, the game crashed out. i searched for tips and the only answer i could find was reinstalling the game. i reinstalled it, and it finally worked. but today, the same thing happened to me. i have been playing this game for about 2 years and it never crashed like that before and i dont want to reinstall the entire game over and over again. :/

Have you reset the character's home that you've been in the Grounds with? If you reset the character's home, it will take them back to Lonely Cave and then you can try re-entering the Grounds. I recommend trying to enter the Grounds from the portal within Seaside Grove. Sometimes, for some reason, crashing occurs in a repeated fashion and so entering from a different portal solves it sometimes for me.

- Is your internet connection stable?
- The Grounds could just be quite full of players of the moment, and your internet (if it's quite slow) may not be letting you into The Grounds

yes, i reseted their homes, tried entering the grounds again, crash. and yes, i tried it with the one in seaside grove too.

Don't know how you'd figure out which .fhp it was without putting them in 1 by one to eliminate the faulty one(s), and even then it'd only show if someone in the grounds was using them at that test time.

There are specific presets from the Preset Sync that can cause the Grounds to crash if the user is in the Grounds. If you look in your FeralHeart folder right after the crash for a file called "badfile.reminder", open that up in Notepad and read what preset file is listed there. Whichever one is listing is causing your crashing. You can find that in your "PublicPresets" folder and just delete it along with the badfile.reminder file in your main FH directory.
