ok one question how do you do layers with GIMP i knew how but i forgot lol xD
als does it work the same with like GIMP2, and etc or does it have to be just GIMP???

You press Ctrl L and the layers box will appear
Will be inactive due to work and exams.

do I colour the layer underneath the lines or on top of the lines, and how do I export so I can view it in preset maker???

Since the preset with, it looks like no fur texture, what do you do to get the texture on it? This part confuses me.

This is a great tutorial, you did a good job on it!

You probably can use Paint though i dont think you can use layers.

A quick question but where can you get photoshop/gimp and how much $?

I personally would go with GIMP for the moment since its free, heres the link

I personally didnt need to save it as headShade.jpg or watever, without the Shade should be fine if you havent changed the material file around

You can colour underneath or above either way is fine. When you save it a box should appear saying it cant handle the jpg or something, simply click Export then Load Defaults when the saving box thing appears.

how do you make it downloadable so it is visible to everyone else that downloads it?, say in an rp for part of a plotline?
