These were really amazing, and they have suddenly disappeared. I was wondering if anyone had a link to them?

i would refrain from using WoW textures because people nearly got into trouble for using them on IT servers.

I've used plenty of the converted meshes for maps, in Feralheart of course, but there was this one texture pack. It was a mod for the game itself, were the textures would be changed in-game similar to the many terrain mods out there.
