Game Discussion / Gaining control of another character glitch

I don't know if this has been discussed before, but..
Recently i logged in to the game, pick a character then enter the game successfully, but rather than controlling my character, i gained control of another player's character, i can jump, run, walk, stalk etc.. except talking.
So seconds later after being the other player's character, i re-logged in, enter the game then my character spawns at the same spot where the other player's character is.
So, have anyone experienced this before?
I wonder how this glitch works, it's pretty bizarre, can someone explain? (Sorry if i have grammatical mistakes, English is my second language
