      I went on to my profile and just, boredly read my profile and then I see Floof-O-Meter. Then I think, I saw that somewhere on a thread. But I forgot it so I don't know what it is. What IS it? Someone help me? Please? :3

Is just a counter of "thanks". People can click your profile buttons to increase (Nuzzle) or decrease (Bite) that counter.
It is the same counter called "Karma" of yesterday.

Huh, I was wondering this too.

Although theoretically isn't it still the same? I mean instead of negative karma it's just changed to 'low amount of "floof" and people will still judge because someone has a lower "floof" amount than others. Sure the "floof" thing sounds less harsh than "Karma" but it's still pretty much the same thing.

BUT then again, in that discussion thread Red said that it's impossible to get rid of the Karma aspect altogether. So I guess this is somewhat better than "biting"/downrating/bla someone.

The option to bite has been taken away. So it can only get "floof"ier.

Yeah that's true, but people will still be less inclined to give "floofs"/nuzzles to those they don't like or to those who are disobeying the rules and such.

I miss the bite function personally. When someone got my goat bad I'd take a deep breath, hit the button, and be over it. I have some anger issues, and without it, I'm afraid I may just get my butt kicked out of FH. Without someway of relieving my anger at certain people who can't get their head around rules and such, I may just end up snapping at everyone. I don't bite for little things either. Stealing items, being rude and nasty, things like that I bite for. I once had my karma drop by over ten points once, and you know what? I just pointed it out and Red was happy to help out.

Personally, I don't see getting rid of karma as a good thing. it isn't a bad thing, but it isn't really supremely good. Since it's been gone I've seen so many people who I want to bite, I can't, and I feel like punching a hole through the screen. It's frustrating and stressing for me. To not be able to have some way of expressing my anger towards someone without posting something nasty is really getting to me.
