Art Gallery / Re: Fire's Headshot Requests!
« on: July 07, 2016, 02:50:41 am »
*screeches* sorry that took so long, jay! i've been super busy these past days and only had the sketch done for a while!

i hope you don't mind, but i gave the drawing a white outline, cause of how dark they are. i can remove it if you want, though ;3

The outline is totally fine! After submitting I was kinda worried Kith was gonna be to dark but at that point it was a tad late, I'm glad you found a way around the lack of contrast without too much issue. I also understand that Kith's spotting can be a tad time consuming.

Kith looks super cute! I really love how you did his eyes!  Even though we do eyes super differently I'm super delighted you got his under-eye marks to look that good! Thank you!

I love how you do your eyes! It's super cute! If you're still open to requests here and he's not to much of a bother can I get you to do my leopard boy? I really would like some super cute art of him but my own style simply doesn't allow for anything really cutesy.

I suppose I ought to fill out a sheet just in case you accept?

Forum Name: jay warfang
Character Name: Kith
Gender: Male

Reference: (I need detailed face markings, too!)    Man I hope this works and doesn't implode on it's self, also I hope I've provided enough detail.
Digitalized?: If you want to. Kith's pretty much monochromatic as is so I don't suppose the option of colour really matters.

I wasn't able to follow up on this last night (lizard issues) but it turns out my firewall was my problem, it looks like everything is running smoothly now! Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it!

Okay, so not one hundred percent confirmed (since I need to put my beardie down before I try to launch a character) but it looks like tellin' my firewall to let the game through is working! Thank you for your help on this!

I've reinstalled already so I guess I'll have to check the firewall. Thanks for your help!

Game Help / Login issues
« on: June 30, 2016, 02:12:31 am »
Okay, so after returning from roughly a month of vacation I've updated to the new version of the game but I can't seem to get in. I'm able to load up the launcher and access the various other options (Options, Creative Den and such)but my effort to log in simply results in being told I can't connect to the front server. The game can still tell me if I've input an (intentionally) wrong password but it just won't let me get into the actual game.

I don't wanna do anything drastic but I'd really like to get into the game, so, what can I do? Any help is appreciated.

Game Discussion / Re: Color Description in Name. Is This Necessary?
« on: March 26, 2016, 03:59:43 am »
I don't think anything other than names should be in the name field, if I'm interested enough in your character to care I'll try to initiate a role play where I can pick up such details from context clues provided by character interactions. I also think slapping those kinds of details into a name would be silly, it would be like going out into the street and introducing myself by going "Yes, Hello. I am Jordan, female, brown and human."
People ought to be more concerned with first impressions and that's exactly what a name is! When I look at someones character I skim over the actual character taking in at most the colour and general shape, the first thing I pat attention to will be the name and if I feel it's redundant, generally weak or seems to convey a lack of comprehension (I'm talking about the loins and tiggers out there) I'm probably gonna move on. People say it's wrong to judge a book by it's cover but I'm pretty sure I can get a pretty good idea of if I absolutely want nothing to do with something at first glance, as are the majority of people.
Names are important when it's the primary clue to a characters identity and the first impression you'll make on possibly hundreds of people who will never meet the real you, please take more care with them.

Game Discussion / Re: Male Or Female?
« on: February 29, 2016, 03:03:21 am »
I don't think I currently have any female characters... I guess I tend to stick to males because it's more "acceptable" for males to be emotionally distant and on account of my autism I'm more that a little emotionally distant/stunted myself. I think that I may also enjoy portraying males as it allows me to engage in vicariously behavior that normally would be very difficult for me to express, for example your stereotypical male is confidant, strong and typically exhibits more "heroic" behaviors all of which are attributes far outside of my nature.

When it comes to gender and/or sexuality I myself am a physically female, gender fluid, asexual, panromantic. I guess that could also explain why I tend to play males, I mean since I do live most of my actual life as female but tend to lean towards a slightly more masculine gender identity most of the time  it would make sense that I play male characters as a method of expressing that part of who I am.
My characters gender identity and/or sexuality tends to be affected by my own shifts though I generally keep their sexuality pretty ambiguous since even though it makes sense for them to have one I don't really and it's hard for me to write one.

I guess that's that then. Maybe I ought to develop some ladies, could be fun.

Game Discussion / Re: Infertile Characters?
« on: January 27, 2016, 10:04:19 pm »
Naturally everyone is entitled to their opinions but I personally have no issue with infertility in any characters. As was said before me
most see being a mate as an equivalent to marriage.
I feel that there is more to relationships then sexuality and the ability for children. Should a person seek a mate or partner for a romantic role play I feel that the importance should be place on romance and I mean the parts of romance that matter, the little moments between two individuals that are what the relationship is built on, not the big extravagant moments of so called affection. A characters ability to produce children does not and should not matter when it comes to the psycho-emotional interplay between two players. I'll elaborate by saying that I also believe In character relationships have absolutely nothing to do with out of character relationships.
