Trouble with Linking Gates [Not Cape Portal]
« on: August 10, 2015, 01:41:10 pm »
Okay, I've tried everything in the Mapping tutorials. Nothing helped.
I know what to do...
But however every time after I type in the destination coordinates for a map I'm linking, when I change tabs inside map maker... Let's say from Objects to World... Then BACK to Objects... The coordinates delete themselves and I am unable to save them when I save the map afterword. I even tried when exporting and I still appear on a far side corner of the map I'm linking to. Any help regarding this would help a ton. Thank you!

Oh! okay... I figured out the problem.
For some reason there must be a glitch in Map Maker where sometimes you cannot save the X, Y, Z coordinates under Destination Position. So what has to be done is that you have to go to YourMapNameGates.cfg located in your map's folder in media > terrains.

at the end of the script/code, there's: 0 0 0; 0
Type your coordinates in there.
If you have arrival yaw (which direction you look at with the camera when your char spawns), keep the semi-colon and type the arrival yaw coordinates replacing the 0 at the end then save.

please lock! thank you.
