Uhhh..... something happened
« on: March 14, 2015, 06:28:32 am »
So, I enter the Feral City map and I see this:

I did NOT modify the map whatsoever, I simply downloaded Muser's amazing Animal Testing facility map and then I go in here and see a giant white bench.... help? o-o

EDIT: never mind! I restarted my game and everything is FINE! :D

EDIT2: hmm, I found more glitches, I think I did something terribly wrong :'( I didn't touch the map or anything

My most active characters are Orpalea and Leotie. Fine me ingame as one of these characters!

Oh jeez. Bench-zilla

I'm not familiar with this problem. Though, it could be a misplaced mesh or some sort of misplaced
file...the only way I know of how to solve, if it is, that is to uninstall/reinstall the game and reinstall
the map, I'm not sure if that would help any

Well, if I uninstall the game, it'll delete all the maps I made and everything -_-

all the map Is doing now is just glitched fences and some extra portals, im sure I could survive that...

They're on high, I think, I might lower a few things and see what happens, i'll go into the map and see if everything is fixed ;)

I didn't place that there... Hmmmm.... Derp.

But it's a bench item, something that had been used in the object files for this map. I'm rather certain that this has something to do with conflict files that you might have in your copy of the game. Objects that are using the same names and material files, or even things that are missing.

A simple fix for this would really be to download the map again, and install ALL things again and making sure that you OVERWRITE the existing files in your folder(Accepting and overwriting when using the .exe, or copy, paste and replace if installing it manually from the .zip).

Either the first download was missing something.
You have another map or object groups that interfere with this maps ones.
Or you've edited or moved away the files the map looks for.

Hence a re-install of the map and making sure the game get ALL the files from the download in the folder and replace any interfering ones should help.
