Map Problem
« on: November 30, 2012, 12:56:12 am »
I have made and uploaded many maps in the past but just a month ago, the newest maps have been glitching, every single one. I make the map, finish it and all, then when I go in to test the map, next thing I know, I see my test character in one place of the map to the other side and it is a really fast switch that repeats. Others who download my maps say the same thing is happening. What is going on? I have changed nothing what so ever, not even knew meshes.

I guess I might as well, I was hoping that would be the last resort though.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm a little confused with your description of the problem. What do you mean by

I see my test character in one place of the map to the other side and it is a really fast switch that repeats.
Is it like a rapid respawning to random locations? Maybe provide some screenshots if you can? I'm not much of a map maker but have you maybe tried messing around with you portal(s) coordinates? If I understood the problem better I might be able to give you better advice. Though I doubt it's whats causing the problem, hopefully the fresh uninstall/reinstall will work for you if you decide to do that. Just be sure to delete the Feral Heart folder but make sure you back up all important files prior to uninstall.

Don't think she could post screenies of her character rapidly blinking from one side of the map to the other Sura xD But i definitely agree with what you said about messing around with the portals coordinates. Perhaps they are closer to the edge than you think so when you enter you hit the edge of the map and it glitches you somewhere else.

You are amazing <3

lol yes Bloo thank you for being blunt about that. I do understand that it's difficult to get screenies of that but I was trying to get an idea via Kora's screenshots to see if in some way Kora can capture enough clues of the spawn points and maybe that could provide a hint to us solving the problem. :)
