i have blender but i cant open them do i need something else to open a .mesh file

You need the Ogre command line tools, you need joof to convert the mesh, then you will need the Ogre In- and Exporter and the python scripts. Nearly all of those stuff needs to be installed manually to make it work with blender. Best is to serach for tutorials.

If you, send me the .mesh files, I can get them converted for you, as I tried to make meshes but not sure and I have all the stuff installed so it should be easy!
