IP address changed don't know how to play FH

So my dad moved the router, changing the IP address and I don't know how to open a port to fix it??? Please help. I'm not much computer smart

Have you tried logging in normally? The change in an IP shouldn't affect your ability to login so long as there isn't a proxy server running.

Logging in normally? You mean they only way to play FH? Yea. And I can only think of it being my IP address change because in the comments in a thread before this one with the same issue of not connecting to the front server the staff have suggest IP address as one of the issues.

Have you tried re-installing the game? I know that may sometimes affect the game. Also, do you have a proxy going currently? You wanna make sure that is closed or else you won't be able to enter the game.

It could possibly be something with the IP, but I am not 100% sure on how that could affect it. I'd say one of the best things for you to do if nothing else is working would be to re-install the whole game. You could back-up your files first so you don't lose anything, but I'd only do that as a last resort if you haven't done it already!

Don't know anything about Proxy's so I'll ask my dad. And i just made a new FH and it didn't work

Okay!

Since you said that your father moved the router, do you still get enough internet to run the game? Try moving your computer closer to the router and see if that fixes your problem. If not, I'd recommend uninstalling the whole program through your computer settings and reinstalling them.

I can try to look into this for you, I've had a similar issue.  What kind of computer are you using? Forgive me if it was already mentioned I didn't see.

I use a cyberpower pc. It was recently upgraded, but it still played FH. the upgrades were memory and video if you need this info
