Where to begin...  First, allow me to apologize for my absence, I would have loved to have had FeralHeart+ done by now, while I didn't always have time to work on it when I did it was always an incredible source of joy to bring my ideas to life in the game.  Unfortunately much has happened in the past year, one event of which I deeply and sorrowfully regret to inform you of is that the hard drive on my laptop died.  With it I lost everything, all the progress I had made on FH+, my new presets, some of my music and photos, everything I had created in The Sims 3, and many of my drawings.  I was devastated and had regrettably not backed up the files like I should have, something I now do at least once every other month.  So where do I go from here?  Well it appears I have two options, one of which I may need some help with.
One, I could sell the laptop for scrap, abandon work on FeralHeart+, and begin work on my second project which I alluded to previously as Changamko Reborn.  Changamko, for those of you who do not know, was an online Lion King roleplaying game originally being developed by a team with KovuLKD as the lead programmer, unfortunately differences arose between members and KovuLKD ended up leaving the group to create his own game Impressive Title, and of course FeralHeart as its successor.  My plan here would be to modify FeralHeart, like I did with FH+, to create a Lion King roleplaying world.  The characters would all look Lion King-esque, the maps would all be locations from the movies or based on locations from the movies, and music would be African with a few scores from the movies and musical.
Or two, after consulting a local computer repair shop I found that there is only one place in the entire United States that could probably recover my laptop, DriveSavers.  Located in California I could pay to ship my laptop there for an estimate and pay to have them attempt to recover FeralHeart+, finish the game, and begin work on the Lion King game.  Unfortunately this is where I may need some assistance, after reading online reviews of DriveSavers I found that to recover data from a crashed hard drive will likely cost me between $800 and $1400, for that I could buy a brand new laptop.  I do plan on sending it in just to get an estimate, but as I am currently in college and have limited funds as it is, my question is would anyone be interested in donating a few bucks if I were to try to pay for this using crowd funding?  Even if I don't manage to raise enough, something would be better than nothing to offset the price of saving FH+.


The current version of FH+ V1.13 is no longer available to download, as it does not currently have Lonely Cave and that means if you create a new character in FH+ they'll arrive in a black abyss.  But not to worry, I am working on finishing up an update to fix this at the moment.  It will not only fix that problem, but hopefully will fix the black screen issue some users have and will include tons of new content and many improvements to original FeralHeart files.  So for now enjoy FHoriginal and get ready for the biggest FeralHeart overhaul you've ever seen!

Update V1.131 will include:

  • Many new items, objects, and plants
  • Over 70 new faux trees and plants
  • New sound effects for maps

  • New and improved stuff in every map
  • Sandstorm adjustments
  • Optimized particles to reduce lag
  • New default sky colors
  • New weather
  • Improved non-reflective water
  • Customized ENB Mod
  • New install program should solve the black screen issue
  • And reintroduction of wings

Finished Maps / Memorial Plaza - Remembering 9/11

Visit Memorial Plaza in FeralHeart and take a moment to remember the events of September 11, 2001, those who lost their lives, their families, and those who put their lives at risk to save others'.

For those unfamiliar with what happened that day, below are two videos and a photographic timeline of events.  Video 1 is a present day reflection chronicling the times and events of the day.  Video 2 are the events as they were reported that day and covered on ABC.  Then finally are a few photographs I gathered online and compiled into a brief look at the attacks and the aftermath.

Every name of the 2753 people lost at The World Trade Center site is listed on the plaques surrounding the reflecting pools, they are in alphabetical order by last name to make it easier to find someone you knew, however each plaque may contain two alphabetical sections, such as A-B and then K-L, due to rearrangements to fit the names onto eight equal sized textures.





To install the map download one of the installation programs below, if you typically have lagging issues with your game you may choose to opt for the "Treeless" version which utilizes 2D trees rather than the full tree mesh.  After downloading proceed to install making sure to read and abide by the rules of the map.  Once installed you can later uninstall the map if you wish by deleting "Default.fhs", "Memorial.fho", and "MemorialPlaza.fhm" from your "exports" folder.

In-Game Roleplay & Group Advertisement / Makuu Kiwanja (The Official Lion King Rp)

Thought I'd at least start a thread for this before I get the new forum up.

So, yeh about the roleplay, this is Makuu Kiwanja (Swahili for "The Pride Lands") a roleplay based on the 1st and 2nd Lion King movies.  In our Rp we have 2 prides the Makuu Pride (translated is the "Pride Pride" XD) and the Kiwa Pride (translated is the "Outcast Pride"), we also have a pack of hyenas known as the Vikuto Pack (The Hyenas Pack), a group of cheetahs the Epesipaka Group ("Swift Cats" Group), a group of leopards the Chuiukoo Group ("Leopard Clan" Group), and a group of rogue lions the Majambazi Group ("Rogues" Group).  The roleplay will be conducted in a map known as The Pride Lands which will contain Makuu Kiwanja ("The Pride Lands", this is Makuu's territory), Kiwa Kiwanja ("The Outcast Lands", this is Kiwa's territory shared with the Vikuto Pack), The Majangwa ("The Baren Lands", this is the desert), The Kiwara ("The Grasslands", this is the Savannah), and The Kichaka ("The Jungle").
