The Coontailed Jackal
History
The first coontailed jackal (Procyon Adustus) was a cross between a common raccoon and a side-striped jackal. It looked completely normal at that time. But it had breed with a human-created species called the Apocalypse Canine (Canis Apocalypse). The offspring of the two made the features of the jackal change greatly. Instead of the brown-black coat, it had fused into a shade of black. The markings were changed into a variety of swirls, stripes, and spots. The size also changed. Coontailed jackals are bigger than the regular side-striped jackal but smaller than the apocalypse canine. The jackal had kept it's striped tail. The jackal always has a special marking on it's forehead, which is a way the jackals recognize each other.
