Chatbox issues

For some reason I can't use grammar in the chatbox (such as ' and ") it just leaves a large blank space. I'm sure it's something to do with my keyboard settings but I'm not sure how to fix it.

Hmm, what kind of keyboard do ye 'ave? Is it something b'sides the normal English version? If 'tis, that could be part of the issue.

Normal keyboard settings can be found on the personalize tab when ye right click on y'er desktop. {Windows 8/10}. What ye need to change on there, though, I am unsure of.

My keyboard is just a standard english keyboard attached to my laptop.

My language settings are on US English :/ I am not sure what else to mess around with to get it to work.

Make sure you are not pressing the left Ctrl button. This will cause whatever you tried to type in while holding it down to appear as a blank space.
