Can't Log In IG

So I wanted to get back into playing after what was likely months to years of not playing. I got a few markings and items packs, everything loads smoothly, but I can't seem to get past the log in screen IG. I've reset my password, restarted the game and tried it with the new password, but it always says that it can't connect to the front server.
Anyone know what's the issue here? Obviously the password is correct, as is the username because it said my current email was in use, so all I needed to do was get an email to confirm my username.

It seems you haven't used the new login system.

Go there, login, and keep the tab open (do not minimize it) as you play FH. Give it about 30 seconds to load before trying to login on the game.

Also, sometimes the login page will log you out. If this happens, use something like refreshthis.com and set it to refresh every few seconds.
