IS DISCORD SUPPOSED TO TAKE THIS LONG TO VERIFY??? XC

HNGGGGGG I just joined Discord and I'm verifying my account now (from the email), but I've been waiting more than 30 minutes and it's STILL verifying! I tried re-verifying and requesting for another verification email to be sent to me, but it's still taking forever. Is it supposed to take this long??? If not, what do I do..? ;-;

you might have entered in the wrong email address, or perhaps it might be in your spam folder? i don't remember having any issues signing up for discord.

No I entered the right email address and I clicked the link to verify. It says "Verifying" but it's been stuck on that screen for more than an hour now ;-;

discord's been having some issues in general this past week, so it might just be that and you might have to try again later today or tomorrow. you could also try and verify the account on a different browser, or if you have another computer or a phone, you could maybe try and verify your account on one of those.
