Game seems to be stuck after creating a character?

Just hopped onto FeralHeart after a while of not playing and I tried to create a new character. Got done with the editing and clicked the finish, and the screen has the "pop-up" that says "creating" and it hasn't budged since. I've waited a while in hopes that maybe it'll move on its own, but it hasn't and this is the second time it's happened (created a character, same thing happened, closed game, reopened to create a character, yknow.)
Any ideas on how to fix this? I'd love to be able to create a character!

UPDATE: I was able to create a simply character, no markings. Whenever I try to use markings (I have Mass Markings), the pop up gets stuck as "updating." And advice or ideas please?

I think it has something to do with your internet connection, or with the login tab page timing out. Try looking at the tab login page while this is happening and seeing if it "times out" and no longer shows you logged in. You'll be able to tell if it shows the login with username and password bar instead of this (ignore the red arrow)

Never heard of this happening.
But; On the UserPanel and after you sign in, You may have to reset your characters location as it may be stuck in the old maps.

Ah, I might have made it confusing by saying I haven't played in a while, my apologies! I have played since the new update, but its been maybe 2 months since I have last played. I don't know if any changes have occurred since then. It only happens when I try to create a character using my mass markings pack, it seems, so I'm likely going to delete MM and FH to try again on it and see what happens.
I didn't time out of my login, but thank you for the suggestions!

The Mass Markings are apparently outdated, as far as I've heard.

Hopefully you can still make extra nifty characters and be able to play as them at the same time.

This used to happen to me a while back as well. I believe it's either a glitch or a rupture in the connection somewhere. I'm unsure if there's a way to solve it, but I've always just restarted it and had to recreate the character. Perhaps try checking your internet connection as well as making sure you're not being logged out of the Play game tab while creating a character. It might also have something to do with how long you take to create a character, as I've noticed it happens only take a particularly long time to make a character, but not entirely sure. Perhaps you could make the character in spurts, saving it and going into edit it so you don't lose everything. Hope I could help a little bit. c:

I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the game and mass markings made for the new update. I could now create a character with mass markings luckily! Problem now is that the game is lagging.
Plans are to uninstall and reinstall again and try these new links you guys provided in hopes it'll help.

My computer should never have problems running FH and has never had it until just recently, unfortunately.

Glad to see you could get your game to work.

For help with a laggy game, try turning off nametags, turning off water reflection, and lowering your view distance. All of these can be accessed in the in-game settings.

I have this problem a lot, because I use a hotspot and not an actual wifi connection. Sorry, but you have to recreate the character.
