ok so you said you use the textures already given, and I know what u r talking about, but I have no idea how to add color without getting rid of the texture. I'm using gimp. help plz?  ;D  Feel free to PM. Thanks a bunch.

I don't use gimp but if it works same way, take brush tool and mode: colour. Then it works :D
