My game says "NO" to making maps?

I have made maps before. And I have done it the correct way, following the tutorial on YouTube that I will list here:

But tonight, my computer decided that FH wasn't going to to take my map and it would just close down the entire game. And when I tried opening a map I had made before, it shut down because of that too.

Any ideas on how to not throw my computer out the window? It's frustrating. And the window's right there.

This is in the wrong place; ask a mod to move it for you.

And for that problem, it could be possible that your FH folder has lots of stuff in it. Try deleting some old/unwanted files, and see if that works. I could also be a ton of stuff on your desktop; delete some unwanted stuff from your desktop, and that should be fine.

But if none of the suggestions above works, it's probably an error. Did you recently download a new mesh or save a heightmap/terrainmask to your FH folder?
