The name of this poem is simply: "I'm feeling poetic." I did not feel the urgency to create a detailed name. I would like for you to be the judge as to what it means to you, instead of just giving a title to go by. Enjoy. 
{ ! }I catch the sparkle, the glint in your eye,
the waves so delicate and smooth as you lie.
A drop so sudden, my heart shall soar,
through bitter excitement forevermore.
Time hardly leaves me a chance to wake.
Oh, just runaway, for goodness sake!
A gentle breeze meets my cheek;
It's not a shame; I was given a peek.
This warmth of chance shall be no more
for the beauty of autumn
has drenched the floor.
Await the tide, await the day,
await the moment when you shall stay...
A hunger burns within my trembling hands,
reminding me too much of these distant lands.
The curtains fall flat against my face,
blood-lined shadows of silk and lace.
What is my remedy, I hear you ask?
Come closer, and I'll reveal this mask.
What matters to you and what matters to me
will not ever determine the will that is free.
Brush away the feathers and fire and dust,
and the oh-so valiant shades of lust;
for it is not our beings and touch that makes us real ---
but the pact held inside like a sacred seal.
I cannot fathom these reasons as they are,
but I hope to overcome them like a glistening star.
Covered, locked, everlasting and tight;
Who would even dare to enter this light?
