Repeative disconnecting on Web page
« on: November 23, 2016, 12:31:52 am »
A friend of mine keeps having login trouble as the page they use keeps auto refreshing itself where she logs in on the website to play the game and it kicks her offline. Does anyone know why this might keep occuring? Shes tried using different browsers?

I recommend that she uses a tab refresher extension. I use "Page Refresh" for Chrome. It happens to quite a few people. Never used to happen to me, but after the tab refresher I rarely get kicked in that sort of manner.

This happened to me for a bit as well, in order to stop the login page from disconnecting me after a while I went and got a tab refresher extension for my browser and set it to refresh every 40 secs. The login page hasn't disconnected me ever since. (I use Chrome with the Easy Auto Refresh extension but it won't matter which browser or extension you choose to use as long as it works for you.)

I believe if the login page doesn't manage to refresh within 60 secs it will disconnect you, which with lag or a slow connection would happen a lot.
Hope this helps!
For the sake of my own health and interests, I've left FH and I won't be looking back.

You're welcome. It should. Have her set her refresh interval to something like 25 or 30 seconds. It does pretty well at stopping those timeouts c:

Also, there is a possibility that your friend could be banned right now.
If the solutions given above don't work, what she can do is to contact a staff member, so they can check if the account is banned.
