I've gotten the update but do I need to redownload the pawesome pack and the Aug 22 markings?  I had them before the update, are they supposed to transfer?

No, you'll have to reinstall them. Both of those packs are not compatible with the update however, so I would suggest getting Legendary Markings (click me!) and Legendary Items (click me!), as both packs include more and are now updated to the latest version. c:

I find it really interesting that the Zama Grotto (the underwater map) uses the same water glitch I found and used in my Underwater Nimrine map.
It just makes underwater maps twice as cooler. Lol
