Weather systems

I thought that a nice addition to the game in the future would be having weather in the public maps, such as rain in Fluorite Plains and snow in South Pole. Only in the outdoor maps obviously; it'll be a bit too weird for it to start raining in Ficho Tunnel xD It'll be nice to have a change from the same old bright sunny sky all the time, don't you think?

I'd love to see weather, perhaps it snows in most places during winter and rains a lot in spring. That would take a good bit of coding though, at least to put it on a cycle. I would think rain/snow would have to only be for special events to avoid overworking the game.

Well, adding more detail into the game is always a good idea.
But maybe, just maybe not to Fluorite or Bonfire. xD

Weather adds lag, maybe not much. But if most of the maps had this, it would still affect the whole game/server.
And honestly, Fluorite and Bonfire are bad enough, right? Right..

But I'd be fine with it if weather would be added to.. let's say, Temple, Cape, etc. c:
Nice idea. ^^

I've been playing with this idea for awhile.
I think it would be nice to loop some sort of weather cycle throughout the day or even week; on a larger time scale. For example: you're sitting in Fluorite (or any map) one day and it's bright sunny skies. 30 mins later the sky gets cloudy and it starts to rain with the sound effects and all. It clears up after an hour or so. Two days later you're sitting in the same map and it gets cloudy/foggy. Different things, y'know? Wind even.
Of course none of that will happen without Kov. But then again... what is a Kov?

I adore this idea, but Ramine is right.

However, I may have an idea we can counteract this lag, if it generates it.

Perhaps the option... to turn off weather? c:
