Terrain Problem
« on: August 05, 2013, 12:08:21 am »
On my FH, my terrain is ALL African Grass... Even South Pole and every public map I've gone in... I've tried reinstalling FH. How do I fix this problem?

People never think of uninstalling, do they? That's my last option though, so I'd suggest these first...
Switch your rendering system.
Run as administer as a second option, though I dunno how it will help...
Uninstall as my last option. I can explain on putting your custom stuff and downloaded some where else and stuff if you need it, since I've explained uninstalling like that before to others.

there is an option in options... you need to change one of them but i cant remember which. its just a setting that you can turn off to make your game less laggy and your is turned off is all

What I think you mean is changing your Rendering system to Direct3D9.

But I think the main reason to why you've got African grass everywhere is cause you might have overwritten a terrain texture. Make sure that the snow texture hasn't been replaced in FeralHeart\Media\Grass or the grass in textures.

As Buffy said, the texture is most probably overwritten by another texture. Have you downloaded any texture mods? If that doesn't help, try uninstalling, remove everything FH related and save your mods. Also, as many have stated, try switching your rendering system.

I tried switching my rendering system to Direct3D but then when I go to play it [[I always use OpenGL most of the time]] it freezes and I am forced to shut my whole PC down. Help please!!!!!!!!!
