How Do I Make An Item?

I've been wondering how do I make an item? If you have a video you can link or somewhere where it tells how then that'd be perfect.

Plus, what programs do I need? I know I can download Blender if that works.

I know there's a tutorial on the forum for how to work with Blender. I think you need to use a program like that to make the mesh, and you'll need a .jpeg or .png file for the texture, a material file and the coding stuffs.
But I'm not an expert so I suggest asking a professional.

Thank you, I'll give it a shot. I'll probably start out with an easy mesh like... a rock. A plain rock.
