Game Help / This texture looks totally wack, can someone help me fix it?

I was attempting to retexture some meshes I downloaded off the internet. The texture was also from the internet, and rather detailed. However, this mesh displays a flat gray surface. And I have no idea what I'm supposed to do to fix it. Note, the white parts around the eyes/nose is me replacing that texture with the basewhite until I can find a suitable one.

The character I'd be most likely to bring to life is probably Solitaire. She's the only one of my characters who isn't devious, some level of cruel, or both. Soli's actually a nice lil' wolf thing.
Not to mention her design is stunning in my opinion.

This is probably one of my favorite maps. At one point, I ended up sharing this with a bunch of my friends and we had several fun RPs here. I've always loved snowy places, and this is one of the most beautiful and creative places in the game. It's probably better than several of my own personal maps. I hope to get as good as this someday!

How is this your first preset? Mine looked awful. I remember toting it around like it was the best thing in the world when it really wasn't. The teeth textures were different on each side of the face.
Either way, this is amazing. Even in my third year of preset making, it might be difficult for me to make something this good.
