Feral Heart: Expression or Escape?

Why do I always come up with topics that I'm not sure where to put? Oh well. If it belongs elsewhere, can a mod please move it there? Thank you! Anyways, what I'm curious about is: do you consider Feral Heart as a place of expression, or a place of escape? Meaning, is Feral Heart a place where you be who you are, or who you would like to be? When browsing the forums, or frolicking about in the game, do you think of it as a whole other world from your everyday existence, or do you think of it as simply a place to socialize and hang out? I think it's obvious by now that I can't think of any better way to put it, so I'm just gonna stop and let you interpret how you will (good luck with that!).

I consider FeralHeart as a place for expression. FeralHeart is a place where you be who you are ^^ (for me). You can explore maps with friends, roleplay with other players or with your friends and other interesting things that you can do in the game. This is why about the game was created, lulz. :p

Hmmm....tough one...I'd say more of an expressing place. There is so much creativity and things you can do in game and the forums to where you can just throw out your whole biography out there and be yourself! Though...for me it is mostly like this, the other bit is a place for me to kinda act how I would like to IRL...I would like to stand up to bullies, not be so shy when meeting people, and be able to participate in popular activities.

i feel like it is more of an escape, meaning roleplay and the like. i am much different online than i am in real life. although it is an escape, lots of people who don't type "correctly" are constantly bashed and yelled at. so i'd say it's an escape -- only for those who are ACCEPTED within most of the community, unfortunately.

To me, I'd have to say that it really depend on my mood. If I feel upset, then it's more of an "escape," as you might put it (if you have any other words, please tell me. owo) but if I'm in my "writer's mood" (where I just want to role-play with all of my friends or only one of my friends, this feeling happens a lot) or in my creativity bouts (one of which I'm currently in) then it'd be more of a place of "expression."
So, it just really depends on my mood.

I find FH as an escape from the madness that is reality. It's the only place I can be myself and express myself freely without being scared to do so.

Personally, I find Feral Heart kinda a mixture of both myself.
Feral Heart does seen to me like I whole different world to me, not because it's online but because of the people I meet. I think it's absolutely amazing and magical that people from two different ends of the earth can be so close without even knowing each other's faces. It's truly magical. I find it so much easier to talk to people online and easier to be myself. I never have to worry when I'm in Feral Heart. It's like a second home to me.
I can also think of it as a place just to hang out and be with friends and people you hold dear. Without fear of being judged if you hang with the right people. But anyway, Feral Heart is an amazing place that people can express who they truly are. I have a incredibly good friend on FH who says in RL she's pretty serious around others, but on Feral Heart she is incredibly funny, sweet, and kind. *throws love out* (you know who you are if you're reading it)

For me it's a bit of both but probably escape more than expression.
I express myself through the game, of course. But it's also a place I feel as if I don't need to do just that.
I can be whoever/whatever I want, by means of RP or anything else for that matter.

Oh, I really like this question.

I find it as both, when I'm feeling sad or when I just need to get away, I like to get on FH and express myself and my characters.

It's like another world almost, you know?
