Firstly, welcome back!
I think there's quite a large group of us that feel exactly the same way. I keep disappearing & then reappearing on a regular basis, never able to fully leave and most definitely not capable of keeping FH out from the back of my mind. Hopefully all of this can make a return for everyone in some way, soon enough.

I'm glad to know I'm not alone in that feeling, it's definitely hard to leave this game behind. You hit the nail on the head with not being able to keep it off the back burner too, the memories I made on it definitely shaped a bit of me as a kid. For the good I'd say. :)

You should definitely give the new maps a chance. While they don't hold any sentimental value to you now, taking the time to make new members in them will help you feel more at home again. They are put together very well- you can just see the love and care that was put into them if you look around. I miss the old maps dearly too, but these maps are just as memorable as the old ones. Who knows, there might be a chance that they won't be too far from the main lands once again. You can still download the old maps and visit them though! Here's a link to the thread: Linkie

I have! I was still playing when they were changed. :')
They are very gorgeous and I agree it's easy to see there was a lot of love put into them, just it was hard for me to get used to them. It was another revisiting after a while scenario and I was completely lost on all that had happened with the code and stuff lol. Though I probably will cave and redownload the game just to run around again, like you said there's still a lot of good memories that can be made with something new. Thanks for providing me with the old map downloads I really appreciate it!

Hi! Probably still forever in the wrong section of this forum but it’s been a good while since I’ve logged in. I don’t really know why I’m back other than to reminisce about this game.
I started playing this when I was pretty young and now I’ve just graduated lol. I would probably download the game again and explore if the old maps were still around, but idk if that whole issue got sorted. Still, I’ve missed this game, the community, and the friends I made on here. It’s crazy how a free game I had seen from a funny video all those years ago had such a big impact on my life and somewhat helped jumpstart my experience of the internet. As much as I’m thinking about telling stories about the people I’ve met and the fun times I’ve had, I don’t wanna make this post anymore messy or longer than it probably is so I’ll just say I’m pretty grateful to have hung out and been a part of this game while I was.
That’s pretty much all, thanks for reading the word vomit of an old player if you did and thanks to everyone who made my time on this game worthwhile. Much love <3

Game Help / Latest item pack
« on: October 20, 2018, 07:05:26 pm »
Can anyone point me to the latest and most used item pack? I don't want to waste a bunch of time being slow and getting distracted while snooping for it and be late to the event!

Also... I'm on a laptop that has 2 TB worth space(amazing!) but unfortunately poor ram(not amazing!). I'm nervous that if I get the preset Sync, it'll destroy the poor thing. Should I or shan't I get it?

Game Help / Spar/gore rp tips
« on: October 15, 2018, 04:07:10 am »
Hey hey friends!

So I've been getting myself into more serious and fun groups as of August but like many rps before, there's two things I've never been good at because I've always been too nervous to practice. Those things, as you probably could tell from the subject, are battle/spar and gorey rps!
I'm getting more comfortable and confident with my advanced rps though I've still got much more to learn, but I really want to tackle the biggest obstacle I've faced since I started rping head on. So, I thought who better to reach out to than the amazing community that's given me all these literary opportunities?

What I'm mainly asking for is advice on terms to use, areas of attack that are fair, things I need to take into consideration, and simply just how I can play rough without any power playing. Though I'm definitely not opposed to one on one conversation, demonstrations, and rp practice either!

Thank you for any answers <3

FH is special. There just isn't anything like it <3

FH is definitely one of those games that people will never forget. It carries one of those vibes that stick with people no matter what. It's really hard to make something that has something so special about it, you don't know just what that thing is, and FH has it. I'm sure this game became this way because of the wonderful community and staff always trying to put their all into what they make for the game. You can always tell when someone, or a team of so many people love what they do by the amount of care and time put into it. I will always love FH no matter what happens. Nothing could ever replace it <3

FH will always have a special place in our hearts, no matter what happens. Despite the situation, there are so many amazing people who have come together and shown just how big of a kind and positive community we are. I'm really glad you're not feeling upset. I don't think anything seriously bad with happen, we all have to just stay positive. Much love indeed. <3

100% agree! This is one of the best and most friendliest communities I've ever known. I think I've missed it so much just because of how nice everyone is lol. It's definitely refreshing to get that genuine kindness from others! <3

I’m glad Feral Heart could be a wonderful experience in your life. Hopefully it continues to be. There is something truly special about this place, and even more so the community that binds it.

Moving this over to the Praise board for you. <3

Thank you! I never know where to put my posts lmao.

I noticed the removal of the patch download and hope everything is going okay for you and the other staffers btw. <3

After downloading the wip maps, I've stopped feeling upset about anything involving this game.
I never thought about it until now, but this game has done so much for me it's mind boggling.

From the moment I logged on, the people were welcoming and friendly. Aside from all the drama, funny moments, amazing rps, creative opportunities, and friendships I've had throughout my time here, there's one thing that will always give FH a special place in my heart.

While I was still new, I met a player named Sparkz in South Pole who was really nice. She asked if I had a skype, I didn't but I said yes and rushed to download it to continue talking with her. Little did I know she'd invite my best friend of fives years to the call. This game was the reason I met someone so important to me and it's difficult to show just how much I appreciate it for that.

Much love to Feral Heart no matter what happens! <3

News Archives / Re: Moderator Free October

I've never seen a proper, functioning game not have moderators.

Feral Heart is extremely special to the entire community still dedicated to it. I like many others have been trying very hard to adjust to the new version of it because I want to still see this game prosper with a new generation that will hopefully make it better. Removing moderation would do the opposite of that. There's no doubt people would abuse the ban system just because they didn't like someone. It's a very bad idea.

We appreciate you working hard to keep the game alive, but this is certainly not the way to do it.
