After a long development, we proudly announce that a brand new Warriors-based roleplay Rising Dawn is finally open! We've been working on the project since Christmas 2015, and finished the roleplay on the 26th of June 2016.

Plots of the roleplay are not mainly decided by the staff, but the players themselves as they roleplay and develop their characters and the entire story. Rising Dawn is something like a sandbox roleplay, where you can choose any path for your character you want. From a loyal warrior to the most dangerous villain!

We've been trying to make the roleplay enjoyable for both players that are looking for a traditional WC roleplay, but also for those who are looking for something new. Rising Dawn's Clans are based on the original Clans, and one can say that they are their alternative versions (StormClan = ThunderClan, CreekClan = RiverClan, MistClan = ShadowClan, PitchClan = WindClan).

Lore

The four Clans had been kept at peace,
following the traditions of the Warrior Ancestors and the Code.
However, as moons kept counting,
the land'd been swarmed under the control of a rogue-formed Clan,
DarkClan.

The Clans had accepted them as their rules,
accepting DarkClan as their only boundary between war and peace.

Yet now, when DarkClan is forever gone,
there's nothing what stands between the
Clans and an eternal war.

Rising Dawn's roleplay takes place right after the defeat of a Clan from the Twoleg place, DarkClan. However, the entire story is much longer, and there are several comic spin-off stories in the making! The entire lore had already received a comic adaptation; second part has been already finished, the first one is still in the making.

StormClan wasn't always the darker eye of the forest. Yet they're mainly known for their stealthy and swift attacks. They excel at tree climbing like agile squirrels. StormClan can be often misunderstood by the other Clans, mainly due to their unpredictable tactics and loyalty to the Warrior Code. They also often have a strong sense of justice.


CreekClan

CreekClan is the grace and peace of the land, like the calm waters in their territory. The Clan is mainly known for their brilliant swimming abilities due to the fact that their territory is mainly covered by water. CreekClanners also managed to master the techniques of fishing.


MistClan

Medicine Cat: Maplestep (XxDarkHeartxX)
Medicine Cat Apprentice: Closed
Mist can be mysterious and gentle, but that's not really the case of MistClan. They're sharp and fierce, using their full strength and bulk in the battle. Yet, they can be often pretty clumsy. MistClan resides in a darker swamp of the land, and are often described as ruthless and bold. Well, mist is not always that gentle.


PitchClan

Leader: Wavestar (Funkygirl101)
Deputy: Open!
Medicine Cat: Open!
Medicine Cat Apprentice: Closed
PitchClan lives in an open moorland, right underneath the starry skies. They're the closest cats to StarClan, and rely on the Starry Ancestors the most. PitchClan is in general a kind and peaceful Clan, that is the least likely to start battles. They often prefer to use diplomatic ways.

The dark tabby tom slipped underneath the barrier to camp, feeling the thorn tips scrap against his lovely, sleek fur. Camp seemed to be more active as usual, he grimaced, gazing around the clearing. From the entrance, he could make out the sturdy frame of his leader climbing out from behind the crack in the rock, where his den was. From the other side of the clearing, the newly arrived kits were seen battling at one another and prancing to the other side of the den. Redfeather noticed the kit's tiny, swollen paw,  a bothered expression sinking into his features as he realised that his work to mend the kit back to health was a waste. The leader must have forgotten to tell the apprentices to replace the bramble roof of the nursery. With a ripple of irritation, he made his way over to the kits, speaking once he was within earshot, "It'll do your paw no good if you're going to encourage it to reopen. You were edging towards infection the first time, do you really want to risk it now?"

However, the medicine cat position in StormClan is open, meaning that the other character, Redfeather, can earn the wanted position! Just audition and who knows? Maybe he is going to become StormClan's healer in the end C:

6. RP Sample:
The dark tabby tom slipped underneath the barrier to camp, feeling the thorn tips scrap against his lovely, sleek fur. Camp seemed to be more active as usual, he grimaced, gazing around the clearing. From the entrance, he could make out the sturdy frame of his leader climbing out from behind the crack in the rock, where his den was. From the other side of the clearing, the newly arrived kits were seen battling at one another and prancing to the other side of the den. Redfeather noticed the kit's tiny, swollen paw,  a bothered expression sinking into his features as he realised that his work to mend the kit back to health was a waste. The leader must have forgotten to tell the apprentices to replace the bramble roof of the nursery. With a ripple of irritation, he made his way over to the kits, speaking once he was within earshot, "It'll do your paw no good if you're going to encourage it to reopen. You were edging towards infection the first time, do you really want to risk it now?"

(lookout for grammar, try to be descriptive, and do not use wolfspeak. We are capable of accepting semi-literate people, if they are willing to improve though!)

First of all, your audition was great! So I think that I can welcome you as the new member of Rising Dawn! However, you can only join with one character that does not bear any high positions, so you can ideally join as a warrior. High ranks are still open to audition on the official site, but you need to officially join the roleplay before auditioning.

Also, deputy of CreekClan has been already claimed by Snowscar (jammer80245), but a medicine cat for StormClan is still open! c:

As I mentioned, CreekClan already has a deputy, so Cherryspeck would be probably required to stay as a warrior. However, the medicine cat position in StormClan is open, meaning that the other character, Redfeather, can earn the wanted position! Just audition and who knows? Maybe he is going to become StormClan's healer in the end C:

Something about your character: She's hotheaded, and loyal. Has blue eyes, and a brown pelt mixed with darker browns, and blacks. Rather lithe, medium sized, leaning more on the tall side. Sparrow is twenty seven moons, and has lived in Stormclan her whole life. Her parents passed away due to malnutrition (during the winter), and she never had any siblings, because her only one was a stillborn.
RP Sample: The mist had crept upon her. It was nighttime; Stormclan was asleep, though due to it being winter time, and prey being scarce, Sparrowheart had decided to venture out of the camp to hunt. Her long, silky pelt kept her warm, though the chill of the night still seemed to bite at her, constantly. The moon had risen high in the sky, illuminating the forest perfectly for her. She reached the streams after a few moments of walking, and when her toes touched the edge of the water bank, she stared down into her reflection that rested on the crystalline water. She was completely captured by the azure eyes staring back at her, until something moved - rustled - behind her, and she snapped out of a trance.

Appearance: A short and stout cat, Quilltooth has a solid build despite his minimal height. He stands shoulder to shoulder with many an apprentice, but knows know to use his condensed muscle to hit like a freight train from the shadows that he so easily hunkers down into. Stealth combined with sudden, stunning slams have served the small tom well through his life, but he's still earned his fair share of scars. The downside of being an ambush predator is that once your momentum gets going, it can be difficult to put on the breaks. Luckily, Quilltooth is cloaked in a pelt of smooth and course fur that doesn't look at all out of place in the swamps. His otter-like fur keeps the brackish water and slick algae rolling off of him as he moves through Mistclan's territory. His pelt is also a murky brown like squalid shallows that cling to the roots of the swamp's trees. His smooth fur is only marred by scattered dark, brown stripes along his hips and face. The backs of his ears are a deep, dark brown in opposition to his creamier underside and toes. The only thing of note besides his stocky build are the two leering green eyes peering out from whatever dark nook he's found to perch in.

Personality: Quilltooth is above all, quiet. No malfunction has quelled his tongue, but rather his mute nature is selective and self-imposed. He always wears a face full of indignant fury, but rarely does he harbor any actual anger. He's simply found that a more aggressive expression keeps those pestering him with unimportant things far enough away. If pulled from his isolated nature however, Quilltooth proves himself to have immeasurable patience, even if he looks like he's two steps from murder. The surly-looking tom has a gentle paw and temper when it comes to kits and apprentices. It's inept or annoying warriors that he has little mind for. Ignorance due to age is acceptable, but ignorance and foolishness when one knows better is damning. He has enough loyalty to his clan, but Quilltooth has a habit of quietly latching on to certain cats and gravitating towards them in all things. When his loyalty is won, so is a great ally. Quilltooth may use his short stature to throw around his surprisingly strong bulk, but his true talent lies in his stealth lurking. The selective mute is watchful and has an incredible memory. Gossip and sins are rarely overlooked and he keeps a mental black book of all that passes him by. The danger in this cat is a poison that settles in to rot rather than a hulking, little bullet.

RP Sample: The weather have given little quarter lately to the cats of the four territories. Storms had raged on and off for a spell and the swamps were full and fat with the water. Limbs down created new fish nests and prey was in surprisingly good stature for their recent luck. Other clans might not have enjoyed such a nice take-away at home, but they certainly noticed Mistclan's. One of the great, old trees of the swamps creaked eerily under large paws. Hooked talons clung to the bark as bright green eyes watched the passing patrol mere fox-lengths away. The cats had yet to cross the border, but there was more than one slitted set of eyes on the bubble and splash of spawning swamp fish. Quilltooth watched without a word or too harsh a breath, more than content to let the Mistclan patrols a ways up the border handle it should they decide to put their lives in Starclan's fickle mercies. A single yowl would send them on a curious, and lethal, trot down to the smaller patrol. As he watched, however, they seemed to weight the Warrior Code heavier than full bellies and backed away to carry on their marking. Quilltooth quirked his head slowly, memorizing the pelts of the retreating warriors and their apprentices. He'd have to cast some lines for information at the next Gathering for their names. It didn't hurt to keep an eye on one's neighbors. With a light huff of breath, he let himself drop from the higher to the lower branches and splash into the water below. He picked his way to the shore and inevitably to the camp beyond.

Sweetwater is infertile! She cant kit.
She loves laying in the cool morning grass when the dews have just settled, and finds that the stars being reflected on any surface is one of her favorite sights. She's always wanting to help cats as well, but don't be mistaken. She is one hell of a fighter if she needs to be.
6. RP Sample
Ears perked, the heavy set tabby looked out over the waters, Amber eyes gleaming in the dimming light. Night was falling, and slowly the sky was turning black. It wasn't log before the stars started to show, bright and beautiful as ever, as they reached across the skies. Tonight, amongst those of Silverpelt, stars were streaking across the sky in a dazzling display that sent shudders down Sweetwater's spine.

She always felt the call of the stars, and today - this display - she felt the urge to race across he moors with the stars above. A cold chill blew over her fur, and as quickly as it had come, the call disappeared. The brown tabby flicked her tail in irritation, eyes falling to the waters at her feet. To her surprise, the stars that fell above her, in the reflection they appeared to all disappear behind her own image. As if they were choosing her.

Fur prickled, before the tabby stepped away from the waters again, shaking her head to rid herself of her thoughts. She was no medicine cat. She knew nothing of what Starclan was doing. And so the molly turned away from the expanse to return to her home - her clan. That's where she was needed. Not here, daydreaming of being able to communicate with those stars above.
