It's a color mask I think. You want to delete it. You can right click the layer and it should say delete Alpha Mask, if not, then you might want to use GIMp then right click the layer and click Remove Alpha Mask.

It was nothing about a Alpha mask there. BUT You gave me kinda a answer
At first I had made my Original Layer called 'Background' to a regular layer, or my Photoshop did it. So THAT'S why it didn't work in Map Maker. I had to right click and 'Flatten Image' to make it the original Background layer again and now it works fine Yaay

You can also try click on the name and use the left and right key to see if you have any space after the last letter. That happened to me once in a while

I need some help! I started on a new map yesterday and when I was 'coloring' the map with many shades of gray and was going to test it in Map maker it just crashed on me.
Before I was done 'coloring' it with mountains and valleys and it was just on big flat land I tried it in the Map maker and adjusted the width and height and ocean height and it worked fine.
But when I almost was done shading it and open it in FH Map Maker it just crashed on me again!
I have had this problem before with another beautiful map I made and I got so angry that I gave up and haven't touched the map maker since.
I'm using Photoshop CS6 to make the map and the map is in 513 pix x 513 pix in gray scale.

This is making me crazy at the moment and I want to make maps again!!
Soo pleeeeeaasss someone help me!

A good way to have order in your downloaded maps in Export folder is to make folders named off which character belongs to the map. (Like: FeralHeart - Exports - then the other folders containing your maps files)
But you have to be aware when you are going to the map, you have to move them out from the folder and out to the Export folder again ^^
I have done this and is a good way to hold your maps in order so you can delete them without deleting wrong files and destroys other maps And you have less glitch in maps with same file names

And I have one qestion... Could you tell me how to use the Billboard and what is the Light for, in the EffectMaker? I need help to understand how I use this. I have tryd and I cant finde it out D:
