Gawana Island

Gawana Island is a medium-detail map I designed and decorated roughly 2 years ago. I say it's a medium-detail map as it's less detailed compared to what I am capable of detailing now.

This map is (and was used as) an ideal social hot-spot. Gawana Island was a map made for me and one other person to hang out in before we went to bed during our Moderating days. It was generally an ideal place to escape to take a break and enjoy company. The reason I'm releasing it now is because it's no longer used by us together, so I wanted to release it so it wasn't just there collecting dust.

This map isn't something I can update as I lost the files on my old computer before it broke down. I don't think I would have wanted to update it at this point anyway because it holds many memories, and I'm not sure I want to change the environment those memories were set in. I hope those who use it enjoy it!

There is a current fault with the sand terrain texture which wasn't an issue before.

I can see a lot of love and special care was put into this map <3  I’ve always enjoyed smaller cozy maps, especially those set on islands or snowy landscapes. Thank you for sharing this with us all. I’m sure others will find it a peaceful place to be and hopefully have their own memories on.
