Personalized Picture

I recently made a gif and saved it to my photos. I'm trying to make it my personalized picture and it doesn't work. It'll show the image but it won't move and blink like it's supposed to. I also tried to enter a url for it with tinypic and still doesn't work. Any help?

Is this for your Avatar? Use the URL method again, only this time use imgur as the image host and not tinypic. Tinypic is banned from this froum due to complications.

Yes it is for my avatar. I did it again using imgur but it still doesnt work

Make sure you have it set to be a ".gif" file format since you said it needs to blink. That could possibly be the problem. And I would do what Bawfle suggested and use Imgur to upload your picture.

I saw it posted in your signature, you copy and pasted the upload link and not the image link.

Just use that link I provided for your avatar. To use it in your signature, you neet to copy and pase the following into your signature in order for it to work:

It will then look like this:

For icons/avatars, the image must be less than 120x120 pixels in order for any animations to work

In that case, here is a re-sized version of the gif. The width is 120, the height is less, but it fits suitably:

Make sure that you're also saving by clicking the 'Change profile' button on the bottom left of the modify forum profile display field.
