Feral Heart

Ever since when Luko and his pack left the Death Flower Pack, Mikuru has been very loney and board. Every day she would sit under the tree that her and DarkStripe last played together and stare at the ground with a look of depression on her face. Seare has notice her every day like that and starts to wonder if he made the right choice by kicking out Luko and his pack. The other pups don't really notice Mikuru because they're too busy playing with each other. One day, Seare went up to Mikuru and said "Hey Mikuru, I've notice that your board all the time and I was wondering if you want to go to Moon Lake."
She then looks up at her father and says "Hmm? Oh no. I'm fine."
"Are you sure? We can fish together."
"No. I'm alright" then she curled up and sighed. So Seare didn't want to bother her so he, and some of the others, went off to hunt.

Then 3 pups noticed her and they giggled to each other. Then they approched her and one of them said "Are you sad because your boyfriend is gone?" Mikuru quickly looked up at them and said "He's not my boyfriend!" she growled. Then the 3 pups laughed and another one said "Yeah right! Everyone knows he's a traitor and a theif like his dad. Ha! Ha! Ha!" they laughed. Then Mikuru got up and said "SHUT UP! DON'T YOU DARE TALK ABOUT HIM LIKE THAT!" then she tackled one of them and bit the pup on the leg hard and the pup yelped in pain. The other 2 knocked her down and bit and clawed her. Then she got up and clawed both of their faces and took one of them by the scruff and threw it at the others knocking them down and they got up and scamperd away. Mikuru growled at them and yelled to them "Yeah you better run!" "Mikuru!" said her father. Her ears quickly folded back and knew that she was in trouble. "Come here young lady!" Mikuru slowly walked to her father with her head hanging low and stopped in front of him. "Yes, father?" she said in a soft voice. Her dad glared at her in anger and said to her "Why would you do that to your fellow pack members!?" he snarled. Mikuru slowly looked up at her father and said "They... they were-"
"They were what!?" he snapped at her.
"They were making fun of DarkStripe and me! I had to do something father! I couldn't let them bully me around like that! What was I supposed to do!? Pretened that they'er not there even though when I can still hear and feel the insults being thrown at me and DarkStripe!?" Seare finally understood why his daughter was like this and why she attacked those 3 pups and now he was starting to regret kicking Luko and his pack out, but he knew that Luko and the wolves that went with him to go hunt put his pack in danger and he was afraid that if they stayed in the pack, his pack would be in danger by those dragons. "I'm out of here!" Mikuru yelled at her dad and ran off past her dad, some of the other wolves and her mother and went to Moon Lake. Her mother noticed that she was angry and upset and tried to go after her, but Seare caught up to Luna and that she needs some time to calm down.

About an hour later, Mikuru finally made it to Moon Lake. She was still angry and upset. She felt like that she could just kill everyone. She walked to the edge of the water and sat down and stared at her reflection. Then she mumbled to herself "What do they know about DarkStripe? Nothing, that's what!" she growled and slapped the surface of the water with her paw. Then, suddenly, she began to cry. Her tears rolled down her face and dripped into the water. She looked up at the sky and yelled "Why did this have to happen!? Why am I not allowed to see DarkStripe again!?" and then collasped to the ground crying.

In Sakura Hills, DarkStripe was feeling like Mikuru. He missed her very much and didn't play with the other pups. His mind was only set on seeing Mikuru again. He really wished to play with her again or at least see her. On most days, when no one was looking, he would just sneak off to this small valley that he found the first time he went off. He was fed up with not being able to see Mikuru. So, he made up a plan that only he knows about and was not going to tell anyone else in his pack. The plan was that in the middle of the night when everyone was sleeping, he would go to Shinga Forest and would be able to see Mikuru and if he was quiet enough, maybe he would be able to talk to her, but for now he was just going to sneak off to his spot and hang there until night fell.

Night fell quickly in all of Aria and now DarkStripe was ready to put his plan into action. He went back to his pack to see if everyone was asleep and they were and then DarkStripe quietly, but quickly, trotted away from them. About three hours past until DarkeStripe finally made it to the Shinga Forest, but after walking about a mile, he stumbled upon the Moon Lake. The moon was full that night and the water was so clear and the water looked like as if you could walk on it. The moon's reflection against the water was so beautiful and DarkStripe could see everything. Then he noticed a pup that was sleeping near the water's edge. He looked closer at it and realized it was Mikuru! He was so excited to see her again and he trotted up to her and shook her a bit to wake her up. Mikuru slowly woke up and looked to see who was shaking her. As she looked to see who it was, she thought she saw DarkStripe and she said quietly, "DarkStripe?" He was about to say something, until he heard someone coming and ran away as fast as he could. Seare had come to take Mikuru back home and he walked the entire time. Then he noticed something russling in the bushes behind them. Mikuru looked up at her father and said: "Dad, is something wrong? What's back there?" Seare looked at Mikuru and said: "Nothing. Must be a sqirrle." And they returned home. As soon as they were far from where DarkStripe was hiding, he poked his head out of the bushes and see them walking away and he said to himself quietly, "Mikuru.... I miss you." Then he returned home.

"The time... has come." BlackStar said looking up at the full moon. She gained hope and strength just by looking at it. She then started to the fortress where she knew she would take on Saskiri. She stood on the horizion and could see the fortress. "She has returned!" gasped one of the guards next to the gate. Then the gate opened and Saskiri was standing there with and evil smirk on her face and walked out of the fortress. "Get inside gaurds."
"But Alpha-?"
"NOW BEFORE I KILL YOU ALL!"
The guards ran inside, including the ones on top of the fortress. Saskiri then looked at the horizon where BackStar stood and they could feel each others eyes on one another. Then they began to walk toward each other.

"So BlackStar, you have returned to your home who banished you for what you have done?"
"You mean what you caused!" BlackStar growled.
"So where are your Elite Guards? Or did you kill them too?" Saskiri said with her eyes narrowed evily at BlackStar. "No. They died of natural selection. You should know that there is little food and water in the Badlands." They soon stopped in front of one another, about 5 feet away from each other.

"What have you done to your pack Saskiri?" Saskiri's name was like posion comeing out of her mouth when she uttered her name. "They got punished. They should know better than to question my athority. Ha! Foolish of them."
"And their punishment?"
"A slow and painful death." BlackStar gasped. "Thats right BlackStar. I have made them weak so if you use your power, they die. So you can either go home and die or you roll in submission to me and maybe you can come back."
"Never!" BlackStar growed then she went stright for her throat and held on.

Saskiri then kicked her off and pinned her and was about to kill BlackStar, but then she bit her armpit and Saskiri growled in pain. BlackStar got up and knocked her to the ground and clawed Saskiri's side. Then Saskiri got up with blood gushing out of her wounds and bit BlackStar's muzzle and tried to crush it, but BlackStar kicked her off and Saskiri tumbled to the ground.

Both of them stared and growled at each other with their tails up in the air. Both suffering from their wounds, but they ignored the pain. Saskiri then said "You have grown stronger than before."
"So have you." Then Saskiri got up and growled "But only one will stand!" and charged at BlackStar. She bit her leg hard then BlackStar clamped down on her neck harder than Saskiri's mere bite and Saskiri yelped in pain and BlackStar threw her to the ground hard and then threw her again releasing her. Saskiri landed hard with a roll. She growled and snarled in pain and at BlackStar. BlackStar walked slowly towards her with ears pinned, fangs beared, and tail up in the air.

Saskiri got up slowly and growled "No! I can't lose! I'M THE REAL ALPHA!" Then charged at BlackStar and then lunged at her. BlackStar then jumped up in the air with Saskiri, then turned her body, making her hind legs hit Saskiri in the face that made Saskiri flying at the fortress. Her body hit one of the walls near the gate and fell to the ground coughing up blood. Her body was too weak to move, let alone breath. The wolves inside the fortress heard a loud thump hit one of the walls and they curled around their pups and mates and they just stared at the gate and kept quiet.

Outside, where Saskiri's body hit the wall, her blood splattered where her body hit. Then BlackStar felt her power acting up and she tried to control it, but it was like her power was screaming to be let out and kill Saskiri. Her power became too much to control and then she transformed. Her pelt, once again became pure white and shined very brightly, her eyes glowed brightly, and the golden markings shined even more brightly. She was blinded by her power and couldn't see anything, but whiteness. She heard the voices again and said "No! Stop! You'll kill the pack!" Her power was in control of her body now and ignored BlackStar's commands.

She walked up to Saskiri's body, picked her up by the throat and Saskiri said, "I guess... I was... wrong... I guess... I'm not... the real... alpha..." then she crushed Saskiri's throat and ripped it out and blood gushed everywhere. She dropped Saskiri's body and throat and walked over to the gate and opened the huge and heavy doors. After she opened the gates, she went back to her normal form and she collasped. She slowly got up and lift her head, and what she saw made her regret that she shouldn't have been born. She collasped and buried her eyes in her paws and cried so hard. She had killed the pack with her power. No matter how hard she tried to control her power, she was still not strong enough to control it.

Then her power awoke once again and she got up and her tears streaks became gold and then she went over to each of the dead wolves and touched them with her paw and they were turned into beds of flowers. Then she howled and the stone ground in the fortress became soft grass, the walls on the inside showed pictures of her life and how she beat Saskiri. When her howl reached outside, flowers and grass grew everywhere with dirt trails and vines grew on the outter walls of the fortress, and the clouds in the night sky moved away to reveal millions of stars. Then she went outside and touched Saskiri's body, which turned into a rock.

Then she looked up at the sky and howled then she turned into a star that shined very brightly and went up into the sky and then burst, creating a constilation that looked just like her howling. Now her new duty was to protect this beautiful land and any wolves who chose to live here.

It has been 4 years since BlackStar and her other Elite Guards were banished from their former pack. Galahan, the alpha male of the Whiteblood Wolves, had died from a very deadly diese. Fraya, the alpha female of the Whiteblood Wolves, was getting very old and weak. Seeing how that she has no more pups to be the next alpha, she had no choice but to appoint her only living daughter Saskiri, but Saskiri wanted to be the alpha as soon as possible, so one night she asked her mother to join a long walk with her and Fraya agreed. Once they far away where no wolf could hear them, Saskiri attacked her weak mother. But before Fraya died she said to Saskiri "You did it. You killed my pups." and died. Saskiri smirk evily at her dead mother and left her body to rot. She retunred to the pack with fake tears rolling down her face and told everyone that a bear had kill Fraya. So then all wolves knew that now she was the new alpha of the pack. Saskiri enjoyed her days as alpha, but she had a feeling that something was going to happen to her.

At the Badlands, BlackStar and Mitira were the only ones left of the Elite Guards. The rest had died from stravation or illness. Then BlackStar said to Mitira "Ugh! I've had enough of this place! We need to set the score straight with Saskiri. Or at least I need to. I mean everyone is dead just because were living here! I just want to kill Saskiri!" Mitira tried to calm down BlackStar by saying "I know and so do I, but we can't go back. Were banished!"
"I know Mitira, but i'm not going to sit here and watch you die next, or you watching me die next! I'm going to defeat Saskiri in the name of the pups who died, the other Elite Guards, and for both of our lives! Tonight we trian."

That night they trianed in the moonless night. They practiced stealth, speed, strength, and endurance. They kept doing this for a whole month. This helped them to survive in the Badlands from death and illness. Until one night, they decided to take a break from training and thought they were good enough to take down Saskiri. But BlackStar had the same dream again, but she turned into her powerful form and attacked Mitira as if she was Saskiri. BlackStar couldn't see through her power. All she kept hearing was "Kill her. Kill her now BlackStar!" then the dream ended and she woke up with blood all over her face and saw that she had accidently killed Mitira in her sleep. BlackStar collapsed with shock and her heart broken. She cried so hard that she howled up to the sky and said "I'm sorry Mitira! I'm so sorry!" then everything went black.

Next thing she knew, she saw her mother looking at her. Her mother was a pure white wolf with rose red eyes. She was sitting across from BlackStar. "Mother?"  BlackStar asked. "Yes its me BlackStar." her mother said in a soothing calm voice. "Mother I missed you so long. Where were you after all these years?" Her mother's ears folded back and said "BlackStar... Do you remember waking up alone without me or anyone?"
"Yes."
"BlackStar. We have a lot of things to talk about. You see when you were born, the moon had moved in front of the sun and the sun turned black, but shined like a star. This happens when there is a wolf who is cursed. The alphas at your birth pack said that we had to kill you before you turned 2 years old. I argued with them to let you live, so we decied to make a deal: you would live, but you had to be kicked out of the pack at 6 weeks... and I... I die."
BlackStar's eyes widen with shock and sadness. Her mother continued. "But when you were living with us, every wolf was dying in there sleep even if they were heathly and young. So the rest of the pack killed me and one of the alphas took you far away and then we all died." BlackStar thought about the dreams that she has been having and realised that she was cursed.
"Do you remember your dreams BlackStar?"
"Yes... So I guess I am cursed."
"I'm sorry BlackStar. I wish I was there for you, but-"
"I know mother... I know. And I still have to defeat Saskiri right?"
"Yes. To free those wolves from her power." She then shows what Saskiri has been doing and Saskiri has been killing any wolves who dared threaten her for anything and in returned either killed them or there pups.

BlackStar then realized her true duty: to help those wolves from Saskiri. Her mother said good bye to her and left. Then BlackStar woke up and said to herself "Don't worry mother. I will take down Saskiri and find a way to control my power."

Both BlackStar and Kriko walked through the quiet snow that still fell on top of them. "Were almost there pup." Kriko said to BlackStar who was closely following Kriko. The pup had many questions in her mind like could she trust Kriko, will his pack let her in, but the question that kept popping in her head was, where was her mother? Having being lost in her thoughts, she tripped on a rock in the snow. Kriko looked behind him to find BlackStar lying face down in the snow. He walked over to her and said, "Are you ok BlackStar?"
"Yeah. I'm ok. I just kinda spaced out." she said getting up and shaking the fur off her pelt.
Kriko smiled slightly at the pup and thought, "The alphas will love this pup. I just know it." Then they both started to walk again.

 After about 30 minutes of walking, Kriko stopped and said, "Here we are pup. This the Fortress of the Whiteblood Wolves." he said pointing to a huge stone-like fortress. BlackStar stared in amazement and thought in her head that there was no way that wolves could have built this. They started toward the gates of the fortress where two guards were standing in front of. "Ahh, welcome back Kriko. I see you found a pup." said one of the guards cheerfully. Then he looked up and said loudly to the wolf on the top of the fortress, "Open the gates!" and the gates slowly opened like double-doors. Kriko and BlackStar walked inside and it was warm. Then the gates closed behind them. Inside there were a lot of wolves with many shades of colors and markings. In the middle of the fortress, was a huge fire that kept the entire fortress warm. Even the guards could feel the warmth coming from inside if they just touched it. The wolves inside were talking, until Kriko lead BlackStar inside. The wolves stopped and stared at the pup with smiling faces. Kriko and BlackStar walked up to a big rock with two wolves sitting on it. The male was a big dark grey 4 year old with ice blue eyes and a black tail tip and an "X" shaped scar on his face. He also had a lighter grey for his underfur. To the female who was sitting next to him, was a beautiful light blue 4 year old with emerald green eyes and a darker blue for her underfur, also with her upper eyelids. "Alphas Galahon and Fraya," Kriko said bowing down to them. BlackStar hid behind Kriko. "I have returned from my patrol and I have found a pup in our territory." BlackStar knew he was talking about her, so she stepped out behind him and stood next to him. "Is this the pup you found Kriko?" said Fraya happily with her tail slightly wagging. Kriko looked at BlackStar and said, "Yes. This is her. Her name is BlackStar." he said smiling. "Umm... Hello." BlackStar said shyly and she bowed down to the alphas as well. Galahon chuckled and said, "It's alright there little one. We won't hurt you, so do not fear." he said in a calming tone.

BlackStar raised her head slowly and saw that the alphas were smiling softly at her and she smilied back to them with her tail wagging. Then Fraya looked over to a wolf and said, "Shinzuna," Shinzuna was a good natured 3 year old pure black female wolf with violet eyes and a light blue color for her upper eyelids. She trotted over to the big rock and said, "Yes alpha Fraya?" "Take this pup to the bathing area and give her a good meal. From now on you will be looking after her." Shinzuna smilied cheerfully and said, "Of course alpha Fraya. Come with me pup." BlackStar was happy that she was accepted into this new pack of hers. She followed Shinzuna, and when she passes Kriko, BlackStar said, "Thank you." and followed Shinuzuna.
