Art Gallery / ~Fused Shall Take Your Request![CLOSED]
« on: February 24, 2013, 12:14:45 am »

Requests are closed at the moment, but keep posted in case I decide to open them up again~

Err, yes.
I shall.

I don't normally do requests, but I decided that a few of them couldn't hurt~
Before I get anywhere further I would like to show you some of my art, and what specifically I am looking to draw...
Just so I don't seem like some noob artist...Even though I am

[Canines and Felines]
This should be the most obvious~ I enjoy drawing canines of all kind, be it dogs small or big, foxes, and of course wolves. Aaand there are cats. Big cats such as lions and tigers are included.

I also could draw you a pokemon. Not much to say here~

If you'd like to see more, my DA be here: http://jesija.deviantart.com/

Rules~:
1. I will not draw you a character that isn't yours. For example, I will not draw you Firestar from warriors, and I will not draw you Kiba from Wolf's Rain. It must be your own original character.
2. Of course, if you ask me to draw a pokemon it doesn't have to be your character~
3. Don't rush me. You're not entitled to a drawing of mine, as I am getting nothing in return for your request. So if I'm taking my sweet time, deal.

Now that we have the filler out of the way, here's the form for requests:
Name: The name of the character you want me to draw. If it's just a random pokemon, just says its name~

Appearance/Ref: If character is a regular animal, explain their appearance in the detail. Please don't give me the fur and eye color and be done with it. What kind of canine are they? If they are a dog, what breed? How old? Short or tall, weak or strong? If it's a pokemon request, I'd like you to tell me if you'd like a shiny version or a normal version.

Gender: Specify if the character is a female or male.

Species: Specify (key word: SPECIFY) what species the character is. Fox, wolf, dog, lion? What breed?

Pose: Anything in particular you want the character to be doing? Optional~

Background: Optional~ I am only doing abstract backgrounds (black backgrounds or something with a random design)

Headshot/Fullbody: Want a full-body reference sheet? Or maybe just a portrait/head-shot?

Extra: Anything else you'd like to add.

Code: [Select]

Finished Maps / ~Fused's Fighting Arena~||PUBLIC||
« on: July 27, 2012, 05:19:30 pm »
Oh, what is this? A fighting area. Please don't claim it as your own, and only download it if you intend to follow the rules. But before we get to that boring stuff...

Lemme give you a walkthrough of the place!

PICCIES :D

This is the spot where the hosts or the judges sit. Its a huge hollow den with two torches on a hill with a slope that leads down into the arena. Behind it is a cliff with a random deerpelt on it.

And this why you want to sit where the host sits but you cant :P Sweet view, aint it?

Just a random hang out place.

This is medic den #1. It has a den for the medic which holds all the herbs. Then two dens for fighters to rest in, complete with bedding and a flower bush roof.

Medic den #2. One den for your solitary loner, or a pair of mates :]

Oh yeah and guess what? You're gonna have to download the map to see what else is in store xD
But please take the time to read the rules:

1. This map is for my rp group. You may rp with us, but you MUST be literate, and you must rp as just a spectator or a one time fighter. If you want to join us, tell me and I shall give you the link to our joining group,
2. No you may not use this for your fighting rp group O_O
3. Don't cause too much drama. Just have fun ^_^

THE DOWNLOAD:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/tb9s8mp3bijabpr/Arena.zip
EDIT: Listen, there was a mistake on the readme that I was too lazy to correct.
Put the '.fhm' file in 'exports'. Put the mp3 in 'sounds'. Put ALL '.fho' files in 'my_objects!!! Do this or a select few objects will not appear!

Welcome to the Arena.

Welcome, to the battle of the century!
No, seriously. This isn't just your ordinary 'sit in a boring little circle and pit each other at our throats' kind of arena. This place we battle in, complete with stairs to spectate and areas for you to chill or heal in... It has an eerie feeling of relaxation. An illusion, to make this place seem less deadlier than it actually is. No one is ever calm about putting their life at risk, so this place gives them a false reason to think its okay to fight mercilessly with eachother. Don't get us wrong, we take our fights seriously here.
Because its not just your pride, or the respect you get from winning.
Its your life that you are risking to do these battles.

Ahem, now that we are finished with the dramatic introduction, lets get down to business. 'Battle in The Arena' is a fighting rp, letting characters from everywhere, every gender, every species, and almost every age come together and battle. But, with such danger involved, it would only be right to set down a few rules, yes?
The OOC rules
1. You may NOT kill anothers persons character, outside or in battle. You must get permission from the person roleplaying the character.
2. Powerplaying, godmodding, mary-sues, or anything of the like will NOT be tolerated. If you do it once, I will give you a warning. Do it again, I will kick you from the group.
3. This is a LITERATE rp, with UNREALISTIC COLORED characters. Literate, meaning you must have correct grammar, punctuation, etc. and have a post length of at least 3 sentences. Unrealistic meaning, your character can be any color you want, but no neon colored characters, mkay?
4. This list of rules, 'The OOC Rules' should not be broken. EVER.
5. Also, characters with 'powers' must be toned down a bit.

So, lets get on to the roles you can play, eh? (psst....these rules are meant to be broken!)
The FIGHTERS [Currently allowing unlimited fighters]
These people are the light of the whole arena. They are the reason it exists. The fighters are put into the arena and are pitted against eachother to fight.
Rules for Fighters:
1. A fighter under the age of one year cannot fight in the arena. They must receive training from an older and more experienced battler until they are of age.
2. The host picks a 'style' of fighting, the number of fighters in one fight, and counts down the fight for them. They may not fight until the host has counted to one.
3. You may not kill and you may only stop when the host commands it or the opponent surrenders.
4. See 'styles of fighting' and get familiar with them so you know how to fight that way.

Styles of Fighting

One-on-one:
Tooth and claw fight- A fight between two fighters that do not have special powers. May also mean two fighters that have powers but cannot use them for a change of pace. Considered the normal and most honorable fight, where 'Dirty-fighting' can be considered its opposite. Best for the fighters that have more brawn.

Dirty-fighting- A fight that depends on stealth and your abilty to avoid or even predict your opponents hits. It combines dodging, tripping, and lunges at the neck and stomach. Fighters who master this style often use their surroundings to their advantage, making them quite sneaky and diffucult to beat. Considered the less honorable of the two 'One-on-one' styles because it depends more on being clever and less on having strength.

Power play- (Doesn't mean what the name is, you may NOT powerplay when using this style.) Two fighters that have a special power fight against each other, using their special abilities to their advantage. These fights can be quite entertaining and unpredictable, due to how no two fighters have the same power, and it is a mystery whether or not they choose Dirty or Tooth fighting.

Group fights
Team battle- Two teams are selected of fighters regardless of powers or not, and the two teams fight against eachother until one team gives in or is defeated.

Free-for-all- A select few fighters are put into the arena and the fight goes on until the last fighter stands.

Dog-baiting- Usually used as a punishment for losing or breaking one of the rules. A fighter is restrained to one spot in the arena while 2 to 4 other fighters are set on him. They keep on until the restrained is fatally injured, or at worst times, dead.

((More styles coming soon!))

The MEDICS [Currently letting 4 medics join]
The medics hold a very important role for the arena. Their job is to heal a fighters injuries, either by herbs or their magical abilty to heal. The only rules for a medic is to always be honest, heal the injured no matter what, and do not get involved with violence.

The HOSTS and The JUDGES [currently letting 2 hosts join and 8 judges join]
The hosts are the people who enforce order around the arena, choose who goes against who, the style, and basically runs the place. The host may or may not be a retired champion fighter. The judges are the those who sit nearby the host, or perhaps the spectators of the fight. They place bets on the fighters, whoever wins gets their share of herbs or food or maybe a good seat for the next fight, while the loser of a bet often has to face another fighter in battle.

Well then, since we have all that cleared up, app time?

Now, look. This might be a bit un-original, but I want to put a twist to it. This will be in-game by the way~
You've seen the new fighting circle they have going on in Ficho Tunnel, right? Most of the roleplay there is medicore at best, with lots of powerplaying and just god awful roleplaying...
So, what if I made a map of a fighting arena (and maybe little living areas for our chara's to live in or to hang out) and make a LITERATE roleplay group centered around the fights? I won't post too many details, but the roleplay will be more fleshed out than just 'lie in a circle and fight'. There will be medics, a system for fighting, hosts, different fighting events and styles...
Also, I noticed only the dogs or the wolves got to fight. A tiger once wanted to join in and they just shrugged him off.
So we'll be adding wolfs, dogs, and felines to the fights as well.
Also, other questions I would like to ask you, the roleplayers:
Should we allow pups to fight?
Should it be more realistic or fantasy-ish (like you can use elemental powers and such)

Keep in mind that this will be a literate roleplay, so it wont include the god-moding, powerplay, and just awful roleplay you see in the one in Ficho. So how about it?

Game Discussion / The Rant Of All Ultimateness
« on: July 19, 2012, 07:18:28 pm »
Now, before I start spewing all this negativity, let me tell you that I have nothing against Feralheart. Not a thing. This game is my top FAVORITE game and I have met many wonderful people through the game and forum, and I think that they are going the right way with making it. I love love loooove this game, and I love the forum even more.

On the other hand, there are some things that I would like to rant about. I like ranting. I don't think ranting will help anything, but I rant because I feel like it. Some of these might not be rants though. Many will have ideas of my own I'd like to share xD Feel free to reply to the rants and share your thoughts! I wanna see what you think!

Bad Tokens/Failed Map Servers etc.
NYAA WHY?!
It does get quite irritating when you go through thirteen bad tokens just to get into the game. This pretty much deters me from playing, and when I log out to change something on my character really quick and try to log back in, it takes hours. Not sure how this can be helped, or if it's just some kind of bad connection thing you have to deal with.

Character designs
Customization is BIG on FH. You can make your own items, make maps, presets, if you want to customize it, no doubt FH will allow you to. Then there are some people who don't have the artistic talent to make a preset, or maybe they just want to quickly make a character and not have to design it from scratch. So they go and customize their character from the already set markings that you can choose from. They choose their height, their weight, muzzle length, blah, blah, blah. My problem with the set markings is that you can only choose ONE color for all of the markings. What if I would like to make the head markings red, and the body markings brown? Maybe I would like to combine two body markings together?
This isn't THAT much of a problem, with all the possibilities of presets. I WOULD like to have seperate marking decisions though.

Physics/Gravity
Believe me, FH is MUCH better than Wolfquest when it comes to physics. You cant walk up a vertical wall. Depending on how wlong you hold the space bar, you can control how high and far your character's jump is. Its kind of amusing to see a dog fall from a mile height in the air and do a bomb spiral down and land, only to recollect itself as if he did not break every bone in his body. But at least make an animation where an animal falling from a certain height falls over on its back or side in pain for a few moments. Makes it more dramatic.
AND BWAH the wings. The anatomy of the felines and canines on FH is very good. The wings, both bat and angel, are hardly realistic. Angel wings are supposed to look feathery and soft, why does it look like it would poke someones eye out?

THE.FREAKIN.ROLEPLAYING.
Last one, and the longest... *sighs*
There are plently of roleplay rants out there. This one is particularly about FH's roleplaying. I'm not talking about the forum roleplay though. In-game.
Why so many pack and group roleplays? Why not try a few loner roleplays? I see so many wolf packs and prides to, and there is one particular group name the FH community has glomped recently...
Thats right, it's WARRIOR CLANS. Sweet baby STARCLAN, (derp) don't even call me hypocritical on this one because I am in a FORUM warrior cat roleplay. EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. I walk into Flourite plains, there is a BRAND NEW WARRIOR CAT ROLEPLAY Starring four clans pitted at eachothers throats! FUN.
I'm not ragging on warrior cat roleplays, some are pretty good acually, but many have the same unoriginal plot.
Speaking of unoriginal plots, ever heard of 'Eat, fight, mate, die' roleplays? These are just... so...BORING. TRY SOMETHING NEW FOR ONCE NYA.

Going into the literacy part of this rant. There is a difference between UNREALISTIC and ILLITERATE. Here, I'll even explain it to ya:
Unrealistic is when your character has unnatural fur colors, is a dragon/mythological creature, has fantasy-like powers, and can do things normal animals can't.
Illiterate is wen u tlk lick dis, wif nu gramar wutsoever.
This is why sparkledogs/AKA PEOPLE WHO DONT WANNA USE BORING BROWN, RED, BLACK, AND GRAY ALL THE TIMES, get such a bad rap! Just because it's unrealistic doesn't mean we act like a bunch of unoriginal shiny farts! I for one love to make unnatural colored characters (with colors that arent eye blinding) and still rp literately and give the character a good personality and backstory. Not to say that realistic roleplays are boring, they certainly are not.

Next is the difference between powerplaying and godmodding. People tend to lump them together or get the definitions mixed up, so here:
Powerplaying: When you control someone else's character, as well as your own, without the other person's permission.
Godmodding: The term applies to "Godly-modification" or "Godlike-modification" to a character, through skills such as evasion and the like, as well as the character's personality which usually consists of a superior.

See? Huge difference.

You step in a eerily silent clearing, lush green grass under your paws tickling your underside.

A simple she-wolf with a gold pelt narrows her eyes at you, and for a second you can see something flash in your eyes, something that floats in the air beside the stranger.
She stays where she is, guarded behind the haze of swaying grass, and regards you one last time before turning to leave.

"Your hour glass is plugged." She mutters, and you have absolutely no idea what she is talking about. This wolf must be insane.

"Looks like you'll be staying here for a while, new god. Welcome to Gemcrypt forest." You glance around for any help, and finding none, you turn back and call for the she-wolf.

She is no longer there when you look back
.

Hello, and welcome to Gemcrypt forest! Now that you know the background, we need the roles of each of the gods/godesses!
But first, we need to know juuust a little bit more about them before you go and try to join.

The deities are basically what keeps the forest functioning. They are more powerful than regular wolves, can travel faster, are larger, and they each have their own designated powers. They are NOT however, perfect or all-powerful in any way. They have their own personalities, and dignities, so to make sure no one god gets the most attention, deities are recquired to keep their powers and godhood a secret. This means that a god can join or start a pack, but most of them tend to stay as loners. Gods have two names, one name is what they are the god of (ie: 'Time' 'Sky' 'Fire') and it is usually what gods use to address eachother as. The other is their regular name which they introduce themselves as to regulars, (ie: 'Aika')

Gods and Mates: Gods can mate with other gods (unless they are, you know, related, for example Sky and Earth are siblings therefor cannot mate) but their offspring cannot inherit powers from BOTH parents, only one. (ie: If Sun and Emotion have a child, that child cannot have Emotion AND Sun's powers, just Emotion's or just Sun's.) Gods can also mate with regular wolves, and more often than not, their offspring will have the god parent's powers. Occasionally the pup will have no powers even if their parent is a god.

Jobs: (I'll try to keep it short, but this is a summary of what each gods job is in case you'd like to apply as one. And uh...really sorry about the eye blinding colors. *troll face* You don't have to read them all, just the god you are interested in)

Sky/Jaya [TAKEN]: Has quite a lot of jobs: Sky controls all weather, makes sure that Sun and Moon are up at the right times. Sky can make clouds by howling, and is the only being who can walk on clouds (Clouds are the makings of Wind and Water, adopted by Sun). Sky also hangs up the stars at night (the stars are the Moon's pups. Fire gave them to the Moon as a present). Sky MUST have wings to perform these tasks. Sky's sibling are Sea and Earth, Sky's children as of now are: Wind. Sky has no mate as of yet.

Sea[TAKEN]: Ruler of all lake/river/sea life, Sea has the power to make and manipulate water. When there are droughts, Sea makes it rain. Sea makes sure that any water body is clean for drinking, they say that the Sea's touch is able to purify a single lake. Siblings are Sky and Earth.

Earth[OPEN]: With the power to make plant-life grow, Earth is Gemcrypt's best decorator. Flowers, bushes, berries, herbs, Earth grows them all. Earth is also able to manipulate plant-life, dirt, soil, rocks. See that floating chunk of dirt over there? That's Earth's fault. Earth makes sure that no place is uncovered, or without trees or grass. Also makes new landscapes and replenishes that land after something bad has happened to it. Siblings are Sea and Sky.

Sun[OPEN]: Sun has a simple but VERY important job. At day, Sun takes on the appearance of a HUGE flaming ball, and sprouts wings made of fire. Sun's job is to ride through the sky and illuminate it for the day, all the while looking after clouds which are your 'pups', given to you by Sea and Wind. Your other child is Fire.

Moon[TAKEN]: Another simple but important job, but remember, the simpler job you have the more you can do whatever you want! Moon illuminates the sky at night, leading the way for all those night-dwellers. Moon can somehow change shapes, and sometimes colors (blue moons or eclipses, where a fight breaks out between Moon and Sun) but only at night, during the day you look relatively normal. Moon also takes take care the stars, a gift given to her by Fire.

Fire[TAKEN]: Simple, once again. Fire can manipulate, well, flames and is able to pretty much blow things up. An effective power, I must say. Fire's only job is to light the Sun aflame when he/she goes on the trip across the sky.

Wind[TAKEN]: Wind has the power to manipulate the air, which may not seem very useful but let me tell you something: Wind is able to turn the temperature in the air to whatever he/she likes, is able to cause tornadoes, hurricanes, that rip through the forest. This means that Wind can freeze over water, make it so hot outside that you could roast to death, and uproot every tree in Gemcrypt. How you treat Wind can depend on your life. Wind works with Sea to create Winter. (Winter is a season, not a god xD)

Life[TAKEN]: When a wolf mother is expecting, they come to Life's temple and pray for good fortune and that their litter will turn out fine. Life takes the prayer and literally takes the litter and decides what they will look like, other physical features etc. and sends them off to be birthed by their mother. They say that when a pup is born, Life's howl will determine whether or not the newborn will live. Life is said to lead the wolves through their lives and ensure they were on the right path, but whether or not Life controls their fate is uncertain. Life currently has the power to make exactly FOUR new gods.

Death/War[TAKEN]: Death's job is just as important as Life's, but quite the opposite. Death takes the souls of dead wolves and pulls them into her domain, and ensures that they stay there. ALL souls go to Death and are her responsibility. Most legends exaggerate that it is like living in a prison and being Death's slave, but it isn't really that bad. Most wolves do not worship 'Death', unless they go to speak with a ghost then they must go to Death's temple and ask to speak. Death and War are the same god, but more wolves worship 'War', who they go to when a pack is at war. War is basically god of battle strategy and chance when it comes to a war.

Emotion/Love[OPEN]: Emotion often works with Life and Intelligence when creating a litter of newborns. Emotion gives and decides what each pup's personality is, and gives them the gift of experiencing emotions. Also the god of Love, he/she looks over couples and families, and sometimes decides who falls in love with who.

Intelligence/[TAKEN]: Intelligence is the root of all smartness. A know-it-all if you will. Intel grants wisdom to whoever he/she chooses as the wolf that Intel is watching over grows. Intel may even teach the residents of Gemcrypt how to make new inventions, or how to hunt better etc. The smartest out of all the gods, Intel keeps track of what everyone is doing and if there is a problem, tells the appropriate person to deal with it. Almost like a messenger.

Time/[TAKEN]: Time's job ties in with Death's. Everyone has an hourglass, and when that hourglass runs out Time has to inform Death, who takes that persons soul when they day. Time is responsible for howling when the day comes so Sun knows when to rise, and the same goes for Moon. Able to see into the past, present, and future, but occasionally. Time travel is VERY rare.

Others: These are unlimited.

Clouds: Sun's many pups. They are quite white and fluffy.

Stars: Moon's many, MANY bright, radiant pups. Fiery and energetic.

Regular Wolves: Residents of Gemcrypt, can be bestowed a power by a god if they aren't born one.

***

Here we are, rules:
1. Basic roleplaying rules apply : Literacy, spelling, grammar, etc.
2. NO GODMODING. It might seem hypocrytical, but if a god controls something they must ask permission first (Example, if you and another character might fall in love with each other, you tell Emotion so that god can rp Emotion deciding 'Ooh, I'll make so-an-so like so-an-so)
3. No powerplaying. If there is a fight, post, then wait for that person to respond.
4. If your charrie is having a litter, simply PM Life that litters bio and Life can rp their creation ^_^
5. The jobs are just summaries, be as creative as you can with your charries
6. You may have 3 chars. 2 gods and 1 'other', or 3 'others'. You cannot have more than two god charries.
