This picture is based on some fan-based RP characters I have in my character vault. Both characters would either play in a Concrete Giraffes RP, fennec fox RP, or just hang out and entertain people.  :D

Game Discussion / No, No! A Thousand Times NO!!!
« on: January 14, 2013, 05:07:45 pm »
"I'm bored. Can you come RP with me?"
"Play with me!"
"Talk ta me, I'm lonely!"
"Can you come join my RP? PlEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEseeee?!"
"Aww come on! I need more members in this pack" -makes big puppy eyes-
"Please Please Please PLEASEEEE!!"

"No no no!!" DX -goes crazy-

Have you ever had a friend/RP buddy/pack member/pal/amigo on the game whisper messages like these to you while you were in the middle of another RP? This seems to happen to me ALL the time.  I'm talking about some of these "friends" come seeking my attention by literally spamming me with whispers. Don't get me wrong... I like the people I roleplay with in the game, but I don't like getting heckled and whisper spammed while in the middle of another RP. Sometimes they won't leave me alone even after I tell them, "I would come RP with you, but I'm in the middle of an RP right now. I will come by later." There are some who stop after I say that, while others just won't take "No" for an answer. Sometimes I have to turn off my whisper menu because the roleplay posts get spammed out..... but THEN, thats when the person who whispered me comes to the RP I'm in and just sit there and wait for me to finish.... or they get involved.
On one occasion, one friend came looking for me and got involved in a voluntary RP fight I was part of and things just went all wrong. They started powerplaying toward the one I was "fighting". -__- A bunch of people got really upset over this and, turned into a big arguement over powerplaying, so we had to postpone the battle.

Has something like this ever happened to you? Ever?

Name: PharaohStar
Former names: PharaohKit, PharaohPaw, PharaohHeart
Age: 34 moons
Gender: Male
Species: Domestic Cat
Breed: Egyptian Mau
Status: Leader
Fur color: Smokey black
Eye color: Jade green

Personality: Most of the time he is a serious, calm, wise young tom. He will show a more humorous side when he is with close friends and allies.

Background/History:
PharaohStar is a third generation leader of PapyrusClan. He is the son of EveningStar, and the grandson of MorningStar, who were both successful leaders. He has a loyal deputy known as AnubisHowl, and holds him in high regard and respect. He takes the role of leader very seriously, and will do anything he can to make sure his clan stays safe and in order. If there is a shortage of warriors, and a surplus of kits becoming apprentices, he will step up to mentor as many as he can. If he has to mentor 4 apprentices at once, he will form a little "class" to teach them the ways of the warrior. When it comes to training apprentices, he is very patient. His moto is "It's okay to make mistakes while in training. You can't learn properly if you don't make mistakes to learn from"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Clan History and Origins:

Many moons ago (in the 1970s) several Egyptian Maus, Abyssinians, and Arabian Maus were picked up off the streets of Egypt, and other parts of the Middle East, to be sold in the United States . Many of these cats were the decendants of the ancient cats of the Egyptian temples. Some were the decendants of the kittypets that lived in the houses of pharaohs and queens. For thousands of moons, stories of the ancient temple cats and pharaoh kittypets were passed down from generation to generation. The stories foretold of how the temple cats had formed a clan with ranks, roles, and leaders.
As these temple cat decendants were being pack up on a ship to be exported to the U.S.  some very old sacred jewelery (gold collars, necklaces, bracelets, rings) from the ancient times were packed along with them.
As soon as the boat reached the U.S., they came up with a plan to escape captivity and find a way back to their homeland. It was better said than done, since they didn't know where they were or how to get back to their home. The group of cats stuck together, and traveled away from the new human civilization they found themselves in. They traveled for many moons, until they reached the forests where other cat clans lived.  There, they became feral forest cats, and formed their own clan. The cats of the Middle East called themselves PapyrusClan, and elected an Egyptian Mau/Abyssinian mix to be their leader. She was known as PyramidStar. They honored the ancient warrior codes from thousands of moons ago, and share some other ancient traditions. They still possess some of the ancient artifacts from their homeland to remember their heritage, and traditions. The leader wears a small golden scarab beetle necklace, which is the symbol of eternal life. When a leader dies or retires, the deputy will step up and wear the necklace.
Today, the clan has many good warriors, and dedicated members. With the help of AnubisHowl, PharaohStar can be sure that the clan stays in order and in good health.

FAQs:

What is a papyrus???
A few people have asked me this. A papyrus is a water plant that the ancient Egyptians used to make paper. This plant is commonly found growing along the Nile River.

Do I have to be an Egyptian cat to join this clan???
No. This clan will accept any breed of cat. You do not have to be an Egyptian Mau, Abyssinian, or an Arabian Mau to join. (*This clan does NOT accept any big cats; lions, tigers, leopards, jaguars, cheetahs, etc))

How do I Join This Roleplay???
There are many ways you can participate in this roleplay.
1.) Sometimes I will advertise in general chat in Flourite when the group is going to roleplay. If you see the advertisement on General chat, you are welcome to join.
2.) You can send a group request to *-PapyrusClan-* to join
**I'm usually on PharaohStar during the afternoon or evening hours.

Outrageous/Crazy/Unusual Attention Seeker Stories of Feral Heart

The title pretty much speaks for itself. We've all met an attention seeker once or twice while playing Feral Heart. Have you ever met any that just did some of the craziest, outrageous, unusual, or goofiest things to get attention from others?

I got one story. It took place out in the Cape while doing a fox RP. I can't remember the names of all the other members I was with so I'll just make them up. I can't remember exactly how it went, but it went a little something like this...

Me: -Goes out to find food for the fox kits-
Gabby Fox: -She came back with a little bit of food, and was badly injured from the bear attack-
Baby Fox kit: -Cries for food because she is starving-
Me: -Brings back a gecko to feed one of her kits, then goes back out to find more food for the others-
Lily Fox kit: -Eats the gecko-
Amber Fox: -Watches the fox kits while the leader and mother foxes go find food-
Baby Fox kit: -CRIES LOUDER BECAUSE SHE IS REALLY HUNGRY!!!-

Then the RP took a dramatic turn because the bear kept coming and attacking us, so some of the mother foxes had to distract the bear to keep the fox kits safe. But as I'm trying to deal with this bear and heal the injured foxes, the  Baby Fox kit keeps slamming on the Caps Lock to get everyone's attention.

Baby Fox kit: -KEEPS CRYING!- "WHY IS NO ONE LISTENING TO ME!?!?!"
Me: -Tends to the injured foxes- "Some alohe vera should fix you up"
Amber Fox: -Helps treat the wounds-
Lily Fox kit: -Stays close to mother-
Baby Fox kit: NO ONE LIKES ME! EVERYONE KEEPS IGNORING ME! DX
Gabby Fox: -Licks wounds-
Toby Fox: -Brings some food for the fox kits-
Lily Fox kit: -Eats the food that Toby brought-
Sam Fox kit: -Eats the food too-
Fox kit: -goes up to the leader- "FEED ME!  FEED ME! FEED ME! FEED ME!" -Cries louder-
Me: "Will you stop crying already? Toby already brought food, so go eat!" -Tends to Gabby's injuries-
Baby Fox kit: -Cries louder because she is hungry-
Me: "Stop crying, or I'll give you a reason to cry!"
Baby Fox kit: -RUNS OFF CRYING- "YOU BIG MEANIE!!!" DX
Sam Fox kit: -Playfights with Lily-
Lily Fox kit: -Tackles Sam and playfights with him-
Baby Fox kit: -Goes down to the water- "No one likes me. I'M GOING INTO THE WATER TO DROWN AND DIE!" -Goes into the water and starts to drown-
....And so she kept doing that for 4 more minutes and pretty much we all started to ignore her.  ::)
The End

Do you have any crazy attention-seeker stories to share? Any that have happened during an RP or out of an RP?

« on: December 19, 2012, 01:21:47 am »
You know how you sometimes get a song stuck in your head and it keeps playing over, and over, and over, and over, and over... and over again?  :P

What song/musical tune is stuck in your head at the moment?

Right now I got the song "Under the Bridge" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers stuck in my head.

Game Discussion / What Animal Do You Like to Play Most Often?
« on: November 30, 2012, 06:31:17 am »
I don't know if there was a topic like this posted before. If there was, I didn't know about it. ^^"

This is a question I would like to ask most Feral-Heart players. What animal speices do you like to play most of the time on this game? I see that some of my friends favor playing a speices more than others. For example, one friend plays as a warrior cat all the time... and I don't think I've ever see them as playing something else. Some people like to play mostly as wolves, or lions, horses, small cats, etc etc.

As for me, my favorite animal to play most of the times is a fox. Why? For one thing, I like playing as small animals, like foxes. I've roleplayed as big animals such as lions, tigers, wolves, and so on but it didn't really suit me too well. I like playing as an animal that can be both predator AND prey. So for me, a fox fits the bill. Plus I think they are really cute, smart, and interesting. ;D
I have many fox characters, but I also have some other small animal characters too: cats, bobcats, raccoons, tanukis (raccoon dogs), ocelots, margays, etc.

So how about you? What is an animal that you like to play most often? A wolf? A lion? Tiger?
