Map Trouble?
« on: December 30, 2012, 11:43:28 pm »
Hello! Below is a message reguarding my question.

So, the other day I downloaded a map called "Feral Lands" for RP. I did the following steps for downloading it, and it worked fine at first.
- Downloaded Map in exports folder (not in a different folder within)
- Refreshed FH
- Got on a testing character
So the portal to the map showed up and everything seemed fine at first. But when I went to the portal and as it was loading, FH just CLOSED! Like when it almost gave a error message or got me in, it just closed. FH seriously just closed.
I was wondering what was happening because this happened twice to me.

Thanks!

You're supposed to put the map files into the exports folder within the actual FH folder.
Maybe that's the case, not sure.

I did do that. This is the way I used it:

Program Files>Feral Heart>exports and I extracted.

It shows up like everything works fine, but the map itself doesn't load.

Nono, what I mean is that you need to place it in FeralHeart -> exports. Not media.

Sorry correction c:

I did put it in exports. Feral Heart>Exports right? There is a Sky folder in it too. I didn't mean Media sorry X3
I extracted the zipped folder in it, and everything loaded out fine.

Am I missing a FH plug-in or something?

I don't know if this will work but move your Feralheart folder to your local disk (C:) instead of Program Files. If that doesn't work try re-starting your computer.
Will be inactive due to work and exams.

And its in Local Disk (:C) Sorry everyone...
Does anyone have a solution?
Everything seems to be in order and correctly in the right place, but the same thing still is happening.....

There could possibly be a missing file in the download or too much lag, these things can cause crashing. Have your water reflection turned off and view distance down to the lowest setting before entering.

Okay.... T_T It still didn't work.

My friend gets into the map fine, so there is probably too much lag.

Thanks for your help! c:
