Aborin or Canis Mythicus
Behavior:
Aborin are crepascular, meaning they are active mostly during dawn and dusk. They are also omnivorous. They live in any area near water and make their homes in secluded, rocky dens. They mate in the fall and stay with one mate through their entire lives. The young, called puppies, are born in the spring in litters of 1 to 3. Aborin are mature at 3 years, but can live up to 10. They live in small family groups or are solitary. An Aborin will feed on basically anything they can find and will not attack unless provoked.
Physical Appearance:
Aborin are mostly bulky and rather large canines. Their fur color ranges from dark brown to tan, with lighter underfur. A few have manes. They have longish muzzles and hundreds of tiny teeth. The front paws are large and have retractable claws, while the back paws vaguely resemble a rat's. The tails are big, fox-like, and super fluffeh. An Aborin's eyes are slitted like a cat's. The skin around their necks is rough and hard, making them impervious to the "go for the jugular" attack.

Markings: Any solid color markings (no stripes, spots, skeleton etc)

Items: Anything realistic (no horns, bubbles, glow eyes, or santa hats)
Fur Color: Dark Brown to Tan
Underfur Color: Slighly lighter than the base fur
Eye Color: Any realistic color (no purple, red, etc)
Marking Color: Darker than the base fur (no restrictions on how much darker)
For Females (Does):Tail: Wolf Tail or Thin Tail
Mane: Side, Center, Eyecover, or None
Eyes: Any Slit Eye (excluding Glow Slits) or Fire
Markings: Any realistic markings (No Swirl, Skeleton, Celtic, etc)
Equip: None
Items: Anything realistic (no horns, bubbles, glow eyes, or santa hats)
Fur Color: Brown to White
Underfur Color: Lighter than the base fur (no restrictions on how much darker)
Eye Color: Any realistic color (no purple, red, etc)
Marking Color: Slightly darker than the base fur
