Game Help / 'Failed to connect to Front Server.'
« on: June 10, 2016, 02:52:04 am »
Greetings! I've been very excited to try out the new update, and I'm very aware that with multiple trying to hop on as well, the servers are a little less than tolerant to some users. I am also aware that the servers being busy may be the root cause of some peoples' problems. Unfortunately since I've installed the update, I have managed to get onto the log in screen, but no further; I've constantly been getting the message "Cannot connect to Front Server" all day.

I'm hopeful that this is merely an issue with the multiple users trying to hop on, but I've been watching for quite a few hours and it seems my issue has no sign of resolving itself. I would just like to make sure that this is just the result of the servers being overstocked rather than a personal problem on my end. If it's the former, I will probably give myself a few days to let it resolve itself.

I've been searching through the help board and found that this isn't a very big problem, hence my concern. Thanks!

Leaving / An Overdue Note.
« on: January 06, 2014, 10:06:38 pm »
If you haven't already noticed by my lack of activity here, I've pretty much lost interest in Feralheart.

I apologize, but to be honest, I just feel as if things have gone down hill recently. In my absence I've also found other things to do in my time. I've been roleplaying in other sites and communities, where I've been more active. Most of my friends have moved on to other servers.

I'm sorry, and I'm sorry if I come off as offensive. But to be honest I just don't feel comfortable hanging around in the community anymore. My roster generally consists of species and creatures that aren't typical felines and canines, and being in a public map looking for an honest roleplay when I want to use one of my own characters is complicated. Usually I would stay within a private map with my friends.

Things have changed since I've first joined. I'm glad to have roleplayed here while I still did, because it created memories for my friends and I. But now I think it's time I leave this community behind.

Take Care.

Let's face it, there is always a youtube video that will make us laugh.
Share them here!

Remember, they must be age appropriate for our younger members here at the forums! That means no mature material or lots of swearing, folks!

My favorites?

Bring on the Trumpets!!

What can I say? I love the Professor Layton series, and the maker of this video did a great job taking an advert from the UK and mixing it in with clips from the series.

Trolling Groose!

Do I need to say anything else?

I love the Soul Eater anime, and Shinigami takes the stand as one of my favorite characters. I don't care whether or not it's meant to be funny or not, but this makes me laugh quite a lot every time.

Other Games / Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney (3DS)
« on: November 21, 2012, 10:04:09 pm »
(Please tell me I'm not the only anticipating this ;w;)

| Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney |

Strange events stir up when Professor Layton and Pheonix Wright, tagged along by their assistants Luke Triton and Maya Fey, find themselves in a mysterious medieval town known as Labyrinth City in a world different from their own. There they are summoned to defend a young girl who has been accused of witchcraft, and solve the mystery of this strange town and it's secrets!

Professor Layton and Ace Attorney fans rejoice!
If you're an admirer of either of these two great video game series, then I'm pretty sure you've already heard of this.
If not, then take a look!

The first announcement for this highly-anticipated crossover game was made during Japan's Tokyo Game Show 2010, released by Capcom, the makers of the "Ace Attorney" series (Famous for it's catchphrase "OBJECTION!") and Level-5, the makers of the "Professor Layton" series. It was another year before more information was released, and another before the game's official release date and it's current trailer came out.

While the game is due to be released in just a few days (November 29th,) for Japan on the 3DS, a release date for other countries, or even a confirmation on whether or not the game is to be localized outside Japan is yet to be known. (And originally, it was supposedly planned for the game to be exclusive to Japan.) However, there are plenty of rumors and a few hints that the game might just be localized.

Here's the latest, up-to-date trailer! (Note, it's in Japanese, but subtitles are provided)

The Game has been released in Japan, how exciting! And take a look at this awesome new trailer!

Safe to say I'm very excited for this.
While I'm concerned on whether or not the game will be localized, I'm hoping that when the game is released that a few playthroughs will be put up just incase.
I'm still getting familiar with the Pheonix Wright games (I have been doing research for this game's sake,) but I'm a fan of Professor Layton series and I can't wait to see what happens.

Anyone else looking forward to this? Share your thoughts!

Discussion Board / So, We Found A Baby Rabbit...
« on: September 09, 2012, 04:38:55 pm »
It's been a very interesting morning...
About a half an hour ago, my mom found a very rare sight. My cat had brought in another one of his catches,
A baby rabbit, and it was still living.

Mom shooed him off before he could finish it off, and managed to grab the baby before it hopped off. At this point, she called me.
She explained that she had no choice but to grab it with her bare hands before wrapping it in some newspaper. I grabbed a towel for her to put the rabbit inside, and we took it out To the porch to discuss the matter.

We were planning on releasing it back, but found that it was bleeding. Right now we're figuring on going to out to out local wildlife center for advice.

That being said, I should ask, any experts out there who have advice on this?
We don't plan on keeping it. It's a wild animal.

Please, REAl advice, no immature comments. DO NOT GO RANTING ON MY CAT. He might not be Feral, but he still has instincts as a hunter. I am already aware that it is an issue and do not need to hear it again.

Other Games / Shadow of the Colossus
« on: August 09, 2012, 05:40:17 pm »
Now I KNOW there are people out here who have played this game.

| | Shadow of the Colossus | |

In this game, you play as a lone warrior who has travelled to a forbidden land in hopes to revive his lost love from the dead. Guided by a mysterious voice named Dormin, the warrior and his horse Agro must travel to several corners of the land to slay a total of sixteen behemoth monsters, called colossi, in order to bring his love back alive, or so Dormin says.

While the plot might seem boring at first (Considering it doesn't start to unravel until you're far into the game,) As well as the fact that there is little to interact with in the world; no villages, no people, and no items to obtain, the game has amazing graphics for one that was released in 2005, not to mention that it's for the PS2.  It also has a colorful set of monsters you have to fight (Albeit the only monsters you have to fight in the entire game,) in colorful enviroments that you have to use to your advantage to slay them. The music is downright emotional and sounds quite unique to any other game that revolves around slaying monsters.

This is what you hear each time you kill a colossus. Compare that to what you hear in Zelda :>

Since there are sixteen colossi in total, you also have a wide range to pick a favorite.
For example, my favorite is No. 8, Kuromori (With which I would happily provide you with a link, if ads didn't latch onto it like the vermin they are :>)

The game is rated T for some blood (Mainly from the colossi) and violence but that's about it.
Anyways, share your own comments and compliments about this amazing game.

Discussion Board / Professor Layton Fans?
« on: June 12, 2012, 03:28:27 am »

"Every puzzle has an answer."

PL fans gather 'round, because I'm sure a true gentleman like Layton is bound to have some!

Ever since 2007-2008, Professor Layton has tested the minds of adoring fans all over the world with clever puzzles. And dang, can they be hard!

Despite all the stress one might experience from solving one of these brain-itching puzzles, the games never cease to amuse with their colorful set of characters and mysteries.

------

Anyways, of all the characters out there, my favorite is obviously Luke, (See the avatar?) cuz' he's just adorable...I prefer his UK voice over his US one, though.

I'm looking forward to the upcoming game, Mask of Miracles...If only I had a 3DS!!
