*~The Different Pack~* A Pack For Wolves With Odd Colors and Markings!

*~The Different Pack~*

Here you will learn all about the Different Pack, with species of wolves never seen before. Their territory contains most of Fluorite Plains, Cape of Many Worlds, Ficho Tunnel, and Bonfire Island. Humans have never found them, mostly because of the mystical shield covering all of these territories, but also because of Felidae and Kita, the alpha male and female. Felidae and Kita have five pups, Thris, Snow, Ruby, Fallen, and Souse. Some members of the pack are; Fade, K-9, and Alue. Others are; Shadow and Sky (Both Pups), Layta (Also a Pup), and Storm (K-9 and  Alue's Pup).

Fact File

Species

Wild Wolf/Torva Lupus

Origin

The Different Pack started out as two mates looking for some pups and some friends, these two were named Felidae and Kita. They soon had two pups, Fallen and Thris, then went looking for more. Next came Ruby, which Felidae adopted, and Snow. They then went looking for friends, which for Felidae wasn't very hard. He became friends with two nice wolves, Nox and Rabbit, though they didn't join the Pack. He then became friends with Fade, who joined his pack.  Many others are apart of this pack, but don't always see eachother.

Personality

Different Pack wolves are mostly caring, loving and like to be tight knit with everyone. Their pack is their family and their pack is their home.  Different Pack wolves, like Felidae, wander to find friends and future packmates. Overall, Different Pack wolves are a caring bunch and would take on anything to protect their pack and family.

Appearance

Each wolf has a different appearance, but genes do play a part in what they will look like. The wolves colors usually are way non-realistic, but, once and a while, a wolf or wolf pup, like Thris and Kita, will contain normal colors. Their eyes can be any color, but mostly; green, purple, ice blue, red, orange, and pink. Though, many other colors are in the gene pools. For instance, a black and turquoise wolf mates with a brownish russet one, they get a brownish russet one and a black and turquoise one.

Intellect

The world's most intelligent mammal, even more so than a human being, the most intelligent creature known to exist. These wolves are cleverer than humans in more ways than one. They have amazing strategies for hunting and working out problems that would surprise even Einstein. They do not have thumbs or fingers, which means it is harder for creating structures such as dens. When they make something, they gather twigs and other materials (such as leaves and feathers) and create the dens using their paws, jaws and even their tails. These animals do not rely on instinct, which is why they make their own decisions, and unlike humans, do not follow each other like sheep. Each language of the human speech is not learnt automatically, they learn it by listening to humans talking to each other and using facial expressions, which is something that humans take years and years to do. A Different Pack Wolf will take one week or so to learn a language.

Skills

Their main weapon is their intelligence, but, they are also very fast, swift, and not to mention strong. A single bite has enough pressure to crush an elephants skull, which makes it a formidable predator. Their claws are sharp, but they do not tend to use them often. Their speed can reach up to 230 miles per hour when hunting prey, but only for a short burst of time, and do not have a flight reaction, they will never run away. Every individual is different, which means they all have different special skills.

Diet

These wolves feed on a variety of foods. Inside of the Fluorite Plains, they are thought to feed on their legendary fish, deer, and large birds. Out of the Fluorite Rivers, they feed on fish, birds, bison, elk, and deer. When hunting, this wolf will chase it's prey at high speeds and latch on to it's throat. The bite pressure is so high, that it cuts the animal's windpipe, causing it to suffocate in at least one minute. A wolf will only start to eat once the prey animal is dead.

Reproduction

These wolves are immortal, and can only die if they choose to themselves. They are independant by nature, so many do not choose to have a family, which makes them a rare species. If there is one that does want to have pups, the wolf will search endlessly through Fluorite Plains, the Cape, Ficho Tunnel, and Bonfire Island in search of another of it's kind (they will never interbreed with other animals, not even regular wolves). When they do find another wolf that they like, they will spend months and months getting to know each other, only then will they want to have pups. A typical female will produce four to five pups, and each one gets a name, which is something that only humans were thought to do.

Female Reproduction

Females can start to breed at the age of 17, never any younger. Many never breed, but the ones that wish to, will begin to find a mate the day they turn that age. Instinct does not drive this desire, it is purely the individual's decision. There is no sign for the female that she is ready to breed, or a time of year, she may decide whenever she wants to passed the age of 17. These wolves will know if they are closesly related, so interbreeding never occurs.

Male Reproduction

Males will very rarely go out in search for a mate. But they too become mature at the age of 17, females who see a male under that age will not be interested in him because they know what age each wolf is without even asking. Males have no predjudice against females being the lower gender.

Pups

A female will make a den out of twigs, feathers and leaves usually at the base of a tree or attatched to one on the forest floor. It takes three months for a female to give birth. During that three months, the female will not "balloon" as most animals do. The only way you can tell if a Different Pack Wolf is pregnant, is by their unusually timid nature, and backing down from fights that they would usually take on. A pregnant female will not hunt either, the male must do all the hunting. When pups are born, their eyes are open, and are not blue (like many baby animals), but are the same colour as what will be when they grow up. Markings are also pure, and do not change. They feed on their mothers milk for the first five weeks of their lives, and then their mother will encourage them to eat meat that she brings back from a hunt. After that stage, she will teach them to hunt small game, then medium, and when she feels that they are ready, large game. Pups will stay with their parents until they wish to leave (usually at the age of thirteen, when they are large and strong enough to be on their own). They will never turn grumpy, so their parents do not usually leave them to fend for themselves at an earlier age than usual.

Status

These wolves are extremely rare, but as a species, will never die out. Out of Fluorite River and Ficho Tunnel, people have tried to hunt them for their marvelous pelts, but cannot.

Known Different Pack Wolves

Felidae (Fell-eh-day) and Kita (Ki-tuh), are the most known Different Pack Wolves, but there are around 15 some-odd numbers out there. Felidae and Kita  are the guardians of their land, so nothing (like humans) can get in.

To be a Different Pack Wolf, there are certain qualities that you must have.

Still want to become one? If you are an epic person and are not phased by these rules, you're on your way to becoming a Different Pack Wolf!

First, you must make your adult (Or pup/adolescent), take a screenshot of the finished creature and the measurements, and send it to me. Give it an epic name before you send it though. The name that you choose must not be something that already exists, such as leaf or marble, however nice they sound. The name must be thought up by you, and must make you feel proud of the Different Pack Wolf that you have just created. Biographies must be layed out like this.

Name:
Gender: Male/Female
Species: Different Pack Wolf
Mate:
Pups:
Pack:
Status: Lone/Pack
Personality:

A typical Different Pack Male Wolf's measurements are like this. Males are almost full on everything.

If you'd like to join, please post here, and I will see if you are worthy to join our epic Pack!
