I have seen this problem on my dad computer before and fixed it but i have tryed everything and still it wont work. The game crashes when ever i load a map i made! I need answers thanks = )

When saying load,

Do you mean a heightmap that you load in the mapmaker?

Do you mean when you use "test" in the mapmaker?

Do you mean an already exported map that you try to access from cape?

its a height map that i try to get loaded onto the map maker

Make sure your height map is in greyscale and same size on both sides, example: 513x513 :3

i switched it to 512 it was 513 i dont think it makes a difference though =P

Alright, try to switch to RGB and back to greyscale, and make sure you are typing right name in right box :3

The picture also NEEDS to be in one layer only, so you need to flatten/merge the layers, otherwise it will crash.

If you still are unable to use it, try making it a .bmp and then load the .bmp image just to save it as a .png again.

It should work when you've done everything mentioned here and earlier in the post.

I decided to post my question in here as so not to clog the forum.
Mine crashes every time I try to open my map.
It was in greyscale, one layer, I even tested it before a bunch of times! Now everytime I try to open it the game closes and gives me a warning pop-up.
What's my problem?
