My controls have been messed up. Please help me!

Today when I logged on to FeralHeart after getting an edited map's portal to appear ( ), my controls were being wierd. When I try to change directions with the camera (arrow keys) I only look that direction, I cannot use the W key to go in that direction, I must use the A and D keys to rotate the body. I have tried resetting the controls to default and logging off and back on again but it is still doing this. I really need help with this it is EXTREMELY frustrating.

Have you tried manually changing your controls? There are times in which the default controlscheme itself might've been reset. You can edit your keyboard.cfg too if you know the numbers for all your keys.

I don't know if this will help you but it usually helps me when I have this problem that you are talking about.
You can open the options menu and click where it says Running Mode and make sure it's unchecked. That always does the trick for me.

That's what right control does. It changes between relative and absolute mode. Still, worth a try...

oh cool I didn't know that I like to do all that stuff the good old fashioned way lol I have not learned all the short cuts yet hehe

Since you guys helped me figure that one out ive been having lots of fun with the wierd controls just nsitting there spinning. LOL
