FeralHeart.exe has stopped working(Please help me with this)

I have just gotten this problem T.T HOwever, I realized it happened after I exported a map. When I redownloaded the game and had itself a new folder (FeralHeart2) and tried to copy over my objects, I came to realize that that was my problem. I don't know which items seeing as I have... A lot.... But Maybe this is a problem to others?

fh works fine on my computer, using openGL (but i think ive seen directx a few times, works either way), and when i open it in moms computer it changes between direct3D9 and openGL, and in the dropdown it has one and doesnt let me select the other.
crashes as soon as it opens using either one
redownloaded and patched several times, and we use avast on both computers. what do

Does your moms computer have DirectX installed?

well, i just start searched directx, and it came up with an empty folder, so i guess she doesn't have it?
i'll just download it and see if that fixes the problem.

But, all the mainstream antiviruses are horrible. Some of them are worse than viruses in my opinion.

I fixed my problem. It was actually something with my particles. I hade 3 water particles just named differently. Deleting them helped. Maybe that is also a problem for others. -just trying to help but really is butting in-

alright, downloaded directx to a folder (it didnt have anywhere automatically set when i installed it ...) then put all the files into the empty folder i found earlier in system32, no change

Woah, you did what? You shouldn't do stuff like that with System32! You might accidentally damage something crucial.
If you just download the .exe it should install by itself.
Try this program, make sure it's run with administrator permissions.

That's directly to the miscrosoft site, it should install itself to it's appropriate directory.
DirectX may not be the problem, but you may have damaged it inadvertently, so I'd recommend reinstalling it just in case.

You may need to be logged in as the administrator account for it to install properly.

yeah yeah i know, so much as letting out a wet fart near system32 will mess up your everything. but i don't think touching an empty folder when everything's set to show hidden items will do too much damage. i've taken out the files anyway and it's just empty again
now waiting for it to finish downloading, which will take a lovely 51 minutes
