Files that originally came from the game when you first downloaded / installed it c:

Default files are the files that came originally with the game. There the ones that keep the game running. If ye've r'placed some default textures, 'tis best to do as the floofs above said and find a separate default file download that has the files ye need and use those to r'place the newly added map textures from the download.

Yes, the elephant skull is an object that still works with FH. I do believe 'tis a default object that comes with the game.
