Need help with Custom Map.

Hello, I've been playing on here for two days and already I've got a custom map made but the one problem I'm having is getting a gate leading to The Cape of Distant Lands. I can get into my map from there but I can't get back. Someone help please. I have searched everywhere I know of, the forum, google I can't find nothing on it. Thank you.

You must've not placed your portal correctly. Go inot your map, check "Has Portal" and put your mouse on the ground where you want the portal to be. The first number you see is the X second is Y etc. Copy the numbers into the X Y Z, and Yaw blanks under "Has Portal".

Yes I have done that. I can't get a gate out of my map. Also I forgot to mention is when I come from the Cape I end up in the corner of the map on land and I'm swimming. I'm in my map now and there is now way out except to click the go home button.

Well, if you put the portal on the spot where you want it, it should be there...are you sure you got it correct?

I'm pretty sure I've got them right. I can try a different spot.

I've tried putting it in a different spot but nothing happened and it still sends me to the corner of the map when I enter from the Cape

This is the same thing that happened to me i think this is what you have to do:

Go to Objects and type in fhCapeofWorlds for the map location, Leave to coordinates blank. Then go to the  Map and click the 'Has Portal' type in the coordinates where you want the portal. Then test to check if you have the blue portal.

Then Test online :3

Okay well it fixed the problem about me not being able to leave the map once I get in there but now there's a new problem, when I jump through the portal it sends me to the Cape but I'm way out in the water, there is only one portal and that's the way out I jump through it and it says "Cannot find map file"

I see the problem, I gave you the wrong thing lmao I spelt the name wrong its ' fhCapeOfWorlds '
Follow the same thing in my last post and try again :3

D: it's still sending me to the Cape but I'm in the water and the only portal is say "Cannot Find Map File"
