New accounts can't login to the game?

Ok, I spent the whole night trying to help my friend get into the game. He just created his account, and he entered the correct password, but no matter what we tried he couldn't login. The ban warning kept appearing. It didn't ban him, just kept appearing and wouldn't let him login. We thought maybe there was a problem with his account, so I just made him a new one and it does the exact thing. I can login into my account just fine. Does anyone know how to fix this? :\

Are you using forumname? Do you have the latest patch (dont know if you need it)
Do you have to long password or username?

The username and/or password may be too long. I'd suggest changing the password, then if that doesn't work, I'd delete the account and make a new one. :)

I shortened it and it still doesn't work. I don't understand why I can login and these new accounts can't :\
